The castle was huge, she observed as she walked hand in hand with Klaus. He looked disheveled since even after his warning he still teased her for a while and he coerced her to give him the book that she had been reading.

They walked into a library that looked more like a fantasy than a reality.

After maneuvering shelves filled with books they finally approached one dusty one, he pulled out a couple of books then the shelve slid to the inside revealing a couple of stairs. She marveled at it walking inside with him, it was dusty so she covered her nose.

"What's this place?" she covered her mouth again after hearing how her voice echoed like five times.

"I would call it a bank" torches lit up once they got close to them. The walls had writings on them, small ones that she couldn't read.

"Bank?"

"Yes, let me show you" he retrieved some keys from his pocket, she had never seen them before. After unlocking it, he pushed it back and it made a loud noise that echoed the halls. "Come and see why it's a bank"

She walked in before him and immediately her eyes went wide as saucers. She had never seen so much gold in one place, actually, she had never seen gold before. She had no idea what to make out of it but this was a bank.

"Do you think it can keep us till when we have children?"

"No I don't think it will Klaus" he smiled noting her sarcasm.

"We need more right?"

"Yes we do" she shook her head and smiled then proceeded to walk back and hold his hand again, "Let's go?"

After carefully studying her, he cradled her face and kissed her lips lightly then proceeded to close the doors. "So here there is a map of Dalotopia, that's why we are we need to deal with Terrence already am tired of him"

"Me too"

Aella had been looking for Ava for a while now but she didn't find her, she found Bethany and she wasn't happy. She was flaming with anger since Ava was missing. Ava had left some few days ago with Azriel but she hadn't returned, Azriel returned battered. He had wounds all over his body and his body was soaked with Ava's blood.

"What did he say happened?" Klaus asked.

"He says that my sister is fine, which I know is a lie" the bite in Bethany's words couldn't be missed. Initially he wanted to leave by herself to the north but she had to wait for Sarin and Grey. Aella was yet to meet Sarin and she was eager to meet her but Sarin was with Grey, Klaus's friend. Klaus was in the room standing at the far window holding some necklace.

"When did he arrive here?"

"They arrived last night and I-" her voice breaks and she can feel the despair and anger in her tone, "I need to go there"

Aella glanced at Klaus and found him looking at her then finally spoke. "I think you should go but not alone we'll follow right after"

Bethany turned to look at Klaus unsure of his words but hope flashed in her eyes. "What will you do?"

"Don't worry about that but we'll follow but you can't leave the castle empty it needs someone to guard it too"

"Who shall we-" Beth asked putting on a leather coat preparing herself.

"Give me fifteen minutes, I will be back in a few minutes" he winnowed away leaving Aella and Bethany. After some silence and Bethany gathering some of her things in a backpack, Bethany sat on a chair adjacent to her bed and drank water.

"She was sorry you know" Bethany said out of the blue.

"What?" she asked not sure what Bethany was talking about.

"When she found out you left, she was not happy she though she failed you, she was sorry"

"It's no problem I-" Bethany cut her off.

"Well to her it was a problem, a very big one she was stressed you know, if it were me" Bethany looked at Aella questioningly although it wasn't necessarily a question. Aella shook her head, "I would've been so happy that you left but am not her am i?"

Aella went to sit beside Bethany, tears pooled her in her eyes. "I know it's her sweet heart that got her into trouble"

"Or her bold and courageous heart" Bethany looked at Aella.

"I'm pathetic aren't I?" she asked self judgement clouding her vision. Aella immediately regretted her earlier statement. She lay on the bed too but on the side looking at Bethany's face.

"If you think you're pathetic then you haven't met me, my sisters were both there for the past few months and although I didn't know after finding out I wanted to help one of them but not the other, I didn't really care what happened to her because I despise her for what she did to me,

"when I realized that she had also been saved I almost roasted her, I was so angry so believe me when I say that your're not pathetic"

Bethany smiled wiping away from her cheeks and temples, "You've changed, not the way you were before" Beth's hand rose to rub Aella's hair between her fore finger and thumb.

"I have changed"

"Careful Bethany" a voice came from behind them, 'they both turned to look at them.

"Come on Klaus, I was just touching her hair" Beth rose from the bed and grabbed her bag. "Who did you get?"

"My brother, sister and Aunt"

Bethany sneered, "How are three people supposed to defend a whole castle?"

"You'll meet them on your way out and find out what I mean" then Klaus looked at Aella on the bed and signified for her to come to his side.

"Ok I have to go now and please come with those two lovebirds" she said with a slight smile then headed out.

Just then a dome of orange light engulfed the whole castle.

"What's that?"

"That's my aunts doing, a dome to cover the castle from dark or foreign magic, let's go we have to visit some snakes" he said then wrapped his hands around her and winnowed them out.

Her emotions spiraled, she was scared of those creatures.
