'Was a fan of all things Otaku. That said, being isekai'd is a bit much, no?' Young man from the real world passes on, and wakes up in a medieval society, without any of the things that brought him pleasure in life. 'But isn't this a chance to start a-new?' Only time will tell as Rudeus decides to makes the best of his new life, but still though... y does his new name sound so familiar?
An OC insert story, but my twist on it. Do not expect a stereotypical story, things won't always go the protagonist way. Being OP doesn't mean your life is easy.
The Original story was supposed to be about an everyman(scum) rebuilding himself in another world, and growing from it. But I felt the author did Otakus dirty. The MC(original) is pure scum, like the worst charactertics of what an Otaku is, a bad stereotype.
Hence this story; a more believable otaku, but can still fall under the trope of the everyman. As well as having the meta knowledge of a self-insert. An average otaku rebuilding himself in another world. A True Isekai.

This is my first time writing a review, I've read until chapter 22, and I can say the story and character development is really good, the story is in slow pace and there are POV from another characters like the original novel, but its still refreshing to read because the main character is more relatable for me than the original main character and the plots is more interesting and realistic because the main character is just an ordinary otaku. Keep up the good work dear authour[img=recommend][img=update]
The story is very good, the only thing that bothered me was the lilia maid-drama. That made the story kinda meh, but still a good read. Imean he and lilia : 5 year old boy and mid 20s maid. That woulndt have worked anyway.
This is strait garbage,he developed a relationship with Lilia, just to end up in NTR. Sorry english is not my first language.
Pathetic author looking to satisfy his fetishes and offend readers, people like you should be banned from the webnovel. That's why he will never grow as an author or as a person. The story walks and materializes as NTR in chapters 21 and 22 and the author with his chipped mentality thinks that "it's not NTR" kkkkk. Tell that to the guy sleeping with your wife when you get home, or your high school sweetheart. People like you who are satisfied with the suffering of others are the worst kind. But, well, one review here nailed it, read the author's name before reading the story, it sums it up well.
There’s NTR, so that means there’s a chance for it to happen to every women thereafter, don’t recommend.
This is not a matter of age-based logic as the author regrettably tries to explain in The Betrayal Drama. It's about disrespect for the readers, but if you've lived and gone through something, you know how it hurts, how it hurts and hurts you to trust someone, give yourself, and in the end be betrayed. The author should be ashamed of what he did, he developed a good 20 chapters and in the end he decided to play with the feelings of others. This isn't GOT where people know what to expect and, it's not like this chosen plot service for narrative purpose, it just offends and hurts.
When you look for a fanfic to see if it improves the main character and in the end you realize that she hasn't changed at all, it even made him weaker. All of this added up to an NTR drama that wrecked the entire 20-chapter development for no plot purpose, just to satisfy the author's twisted fetishes. Well, I have no doubt that in the future the MC's father will sleep with the elf and his other girlfriends, then the author will come back and say "no, this is to show that not everything works, it will get better, believe me". There is no excuse for betrayal, whatever it may be. She only hurts, and doesn't return anything positive to the person who suffered.

You betrayed me. Why? You could've just NOT NTR'D Lilia but no.... I truly felt betrayed. Sorry, but I'm not going back until those chapters get a rewrite.

It seems to be a good start, but then the canon begins to repeat itself with minimal changes (the main change is that the main character is weaker than the original Rudeus, oh yes, he also cosplays Emiya Shiro). The whole romance between Lilya and the hero looked strange from the very beginning, and in the end turned into a drama sucked out of a finger.
Skip straight to chapter 23 and forget about 21 and 22 if you don't like NTR plots. The author trashes all character development to satisfy his psychological distortion.
[NTR Warning!!!] An absolute shame as a Mushoku Tensei fanfic, this completely ate itself up while the Author clearly knew what he was doing. Differences between the normal Light Novel and this fanfic are noticeably small, other than the fact the Original Rudy was a big perv, the other lad is a carbon copy of the Original, just slightly less perverse. Over 20 chapters were built around the relationship of a "child" and a 19-26-year-old maid, who Rudues was in-love with. as weird as it was, the Author decided to introduce an NTR aspect into the mix. Rudy's father, Paul did the deed with Lilia with a full chapter that had dialogue between both of them and Lilia loved it. When the time came, she brought up the fact that she was pregnant with Paul's child, and Rudy just sat there, Holding himself, did not speak up, and put the blame on Paul, when it was a mutual friend-with benefits-moment. Only for her to come and regret it apologizing to Rudy for what she's done. Rudy's mind does not seem to be that of a reincarnated man, as he acts and behaves like a child sometimes. as of recent chapters, Rudy is building and expanding his relationship with Sylphy which is weird considering the fact that she kissed him and he just sat there. This would literally fall short under "grooming" completely unnecessary. It'd be best that Rudy tries to build a relationship AFTER he reaches AT LEAST 15-16, the standard age to be an adult in the MT-verse. In conclusion: The Author has a sick mind and knew what he was doing. probably made the deed between Lilia and Paul happen so that Aisha gets born and so an 'Oyakudon' part happens. The state of the "Fanfic" if you'd call it that is sickening. The story barely progresses per chapter, Rudeus's powers aren't that different from the normal story, just a few new moves and all. and that's it. PS: I know the Author is reading this but wont respond as he only reads the good comments praising him and ignores the comments that make sense. It's best that you have a time skip chapter where Rudues age's up, since he wouldn't meet Eris, he should have a time-skip arc prior to or after the teleportation incident.
