Xavier rolled his eyes as he watched Paxton mutter to himself.
"If you have something to say then say it but if you don't, get out. I'm trying to rest" Paxton huffed then walked over to him.
"You're getting attached to that wolf, Xavier" Xavier furrowed his eyebrows.
"What?"
"You are getting attached to her. I've noticed the way you act differently around her and the way you call her little wolf is too endearing for your own good" Xavier rolled his eyes.
"Stop reading too much into it, Paxton. I know what I'm doing" He scoffed but immediately gulped when Xavier glared at him.
Paxton took a step back as he cleared his throat.
"See what I mean? Your cold Aura isn't the same when you're with her and you are hardly ever mean to her. I mean if we compare the way you treat her to the way you treat every other being, she's practically a Queen" Xavier groaned as he scratched his ear.
"Don't you have somewhere to be? All I can hear coming out of your mouth is gibberish and it's starting to annoy me" Paxton sighed. He should have known Xavier was going to be dismissive about this.
"I'm keeping an eye on you both. It seems like you keep forgetting the plan is to get out of here and destroy all these wolves including her. It's because of her you're being kept down here" Xavier frowned.
"But it isn't her fault. She didn't ask for her parents to take my blood and save her" Paxton's eyes widened then he scoffed.
"Wow, I never thought I'd see you stand up for someone" Xavier glared at him.
"I stand up for what is right and just and Aurora has no hand in this. I'll kill everyone else but her and then we'll leave" Paxton stared at him for a while then let out a sigh.
"Fine, I'll stop talking about it before you kill me" Xavier smirked then closed his eyes.
"Smart boy" Paxton rolled his eyes.
"Roll your eyes at me again and I'll make sure that's the last time you ever get to use them again" Paxton choked on his spit after hearing Xavier words.
"Sorry. Oh!" Paxton suddenly exclaimed with his eyes wide causing Xavier to groan.
"What is it this time around?"
"I forgot to tell you that Leo's grave was found empty today" Xavier's eyes immediately shot right open as he turned to Paxton.
"What?!" Paxton nodded.
"Everyone was panicking earlier, thinking he was coming for them because he wanted to take revenge for you but I haven't heard anything yet and that means, no one has been killed by him yet" Xavier frowned as a thoughtful look appeared on his face.
For some reason, his mind drifted towards Aurora. He knew the way Leo's mind worked and if he truly woke up to avenge him then Leo would have gone for the source.
He closed his eyes as he tried slipping into her mind but he couldn't. It's either she wasn't thinking of him or her mind was blank at the moment.
"Paxton, check up on Aurora and report to me immediately" He ordered and Paxton didn't question him when he saw the serious look on Xavier's face.
"Of course" Then he changed into a bee and flew out the little hole on the wall.

Aurora gasped for air as the cold ice water landed on her face. She opened her eyes slowly and stared at a very gorgeous face that she had never seen before.
"Gosh, I thought you had already died. Just how deep do you sleep?" His deep voice sounded in her ear as he sat down in front of her.
She tried speaking and that was when she noticed that her body was tied tightly with a rope.
"What… what is going on?" She questioned as she stared at him with panic in her eyes.
"Oh you seem to have forgotten about me because I'm not in the body you had seen me in earlier. It's me, Steven or at least the soul that was inside Steven" She gasped as her eyes widened.
"You!... What did you do to Steven?!" She yelled and he laughed.
"Wow, you sure do look like a little pup when angry and don't worry, you're the one I want so I didn't kill your little friend… yet. He's over there" She glanced at the area the strange man was pointing out and gasped when she saw Steven laying down on the hard cold ground with no sign of moving.
"Steven! Wake up!" She yelled and he laughed again.
"Silly wolf, he's Unconscious. How do you expect him to hear you? If I were you, I'd keep my mouth shut so I can get this over with and move on to my next target" She turned back to him and tried to keep the fear out of her eyes but her body was trembling.
If she thought Xavier had emotionless eyes, the man in front of her had the eyes of darkness. It was so dark that she couldn't even see her reflection in them.
"What…what do you want with me? I don't… I don't even know you" He tilted his head then nodded slowly.
"And I don't know you either and I don't want to get to know you since it would be fruitless anyways. I'm just carrying out my duties to my King. If he can't do it himself, his loyal subject has to do it for him" She frowned then it suddenly dawned on her and she gasped.
He had that superior feel to him as well and that could only mean that he was from Xavier's realm so was the king he was talking about Xavier?
"Is… is Xavier your King?" He frowned then within the blink of an eye, his fingers were wrapped around her throat.
"How come you're on a first name basis with him? You're a lowly mortal and you do not have the right to call him by his name!" Aurora could hardly breathe and she was sure it seemed like her eyes were about to pop out of its socket.
His fingers tightened around her neck as tears rolled Down her cheeks. Was this how she was going to die? At the hands of Xavier's Loyal follower?
She closed her eyes slowly and was about to accept her fate when his fingers were yanked off her neck.
She opened her eyes abruptly and gasped when she saw Xavier holding onto the strange man's neck as he lifted him off the ground.
"Leo" Xavier muttered and a bright smile appeared on the strange man's face.
"Hello, My King"...
