CHAPTER 11.

QUINN'S POV:

Nico walked beside me much to my annoyance. I just wanted to take a walk and he insisted on coming along.

I ignored him as I walked into a Starbucks and sat down. He proceeded to take another seat just few feet away in an attempt to give me some privacy.

I ordered a simple strawberry refresher and waited for it to arrive. I scrolled through my contact list and kept stopping at Aiden's contact.

Deciding to just do it, I called. He picked immediately.

"Quinnie?"

I wanted to cry at the sound of his voice.

"Hi Aiden." I said.

"How are you? I haven't heard from you in so long." He said and I felt guilty because I purposely did that.

"I'm okay. Still adjusting. How's everyone back there?" I asked.

"We're good. How's Rissa though? Saw her on the news with some dude." He chuckled and I froze. If he saw her, he must've seen me too.

"She's doing great." I answered. "So were you ever going to tell me that there was another guy?" He asked and I sighed.

I really didn't know how to explain this to him.

"Aiden... I'm sorry." I said and he let out a deep breath.

"You're marrying him Quinnie! Why? I thought maybe you'd change your mind about the distance thing and call but you didn't even call when you landed in America." He said and I sighed again.

"I'm sorry Aiden. I really am." I kept saying.

I didn't notice that my drink had arrived or that I was crying.

"You're a stupid selfish bitch Nini. You only ever cared about yourself. You're a slut! That's what you are."

I was stunned I couldn't even speak.

"Aiden, why are you saying that? You know I loved you!" I cried and he scoffed.

"Keyword being Loved. Goodbye Quinn. I hate you." The line went dead and I stared at my phone in shock.

He called me Quinn. Ever since we met he hadn't called me Quinn. It was always Quinnie or Nini. Today he called me Quinn.

I might never be friends with Aiden again.

The fact that I was in public didn't phase me as I cried into my hands. I felt someone beside me and looked up. Xavier stood there in all his handsome glory and was staring at me in concern.

Needing a shoulder to cry on, I stood up and threw my arms around him as I sobbed.

"Baby what's wrong? Why are you crying?" He asked softly as he stroked my hair.

"I can't tell you here." I mumbled admist tears.

"Okay. let's go home. Nico!" He yelled before guiding me towards the exit.

"My drink!" I muttered.

"Nico has it. Come my love." He said and we left.

**********

I felt so embarrassed that Xavier saw me cry. I was an ugly crier. I sighed as I settled myself further into the soft bed.

He took me to his house. I wasn't going to lie, he had the money and he flaunted it.

This house was too huge for a person to live in but I guess the number added seeing as this is where I get to live after our wedding in three days.

Yes. This dumbass thought it was a great idea to get things over with and I had to do a rushed dress picking. It wasn't fun since Laura had to be there and she objected to every single dress I liked.

I ended up sending her home and threatening to tell Xavier to which she merely scoffed and walked away.

If I should see her again, I swear I'd punch her.

"So why did you have to cry like that in public?" Xavier asked walked in and I gaped at him.

The nerve of this man to walk in here shirtless.

I averted my eyes and told him everything.

"He's lucky he's all the way there but then again, I do have a business trip to go on and I'm taking you with me." He mused and I frowned standing on the bed.

"You realize it's your fault he won't ever talk to me again." I said and he raised an eyebrow at me.

"You're the one who broke up with him not me." He countered and I glared.

"I'm going home." I announced.

"It's already dark out." He said.

"Where is Nico when I need him? NICO!" I yelled. Xavier smirked. "I sent him off. He doesn't need to be here while I'm with you." He said and I scoffed.

"Terrible mistake Mr Sterling. Who's going to protect you from me?" I asked and he shrugged.

"I'll be fine." He said.

"Oh no no no no no buddy. Get out of my way!"

"You're such an annoying little thing."

"I'm a ray of Sunshine. Don't know what you're talking about."

I lunged.

His eyes widened in surprise, totally not expecting that. We both toppled to the ground but I was back on my feet and running towards the door. He grabbed my waist pulling me back towards him. I Kicked and struggled but his grip was firm.

"Calm the fuck down woman!" He snapped and I stopped.

"You can go in the morning. It's already dark out." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Haven't you heard of the bride and groom shouldn't see each other before the wedding? I'm looking at your stupid face right now!" I yelled.

"It's still three days away." He countered.

"So?"

He sighed.

"Quinn? Just go to sleep already." He dumped me ceremoniously on the bed and I bounced with a shriek.

"Fine. This isn't over." I warned and he smirked.

"This is my room Quinn. What I say goes. Scoot over." He said and I grumbled as I moved to the other side. I created a massive pillow wall to separate us. I could tell that by morning it would be gone but I wasn't taking any chances.

"Good night. Nini" He said. Nini?

"What do you think about the name Quavier?"

"Huh?!" I laughed at how confused he sounded.

"Goodnight, Xav."

Sleep came a lot quicker than usual.
