chapter five

Joan tossed and turned for the whole night, the next day she went to class, meet a couple of people of which two became her friends

"my name is Kimmy"

"and my name is Maxim"

"uhm am Joan"

"nice to meet you Joan" both Kimmy and Maxim said excitingly

"so what do you have planned for today" Maxim asked Joan

"I'm waiting for someone" Joan said

"oh ok" Kimmy said

"maybe another time we can spend sometime together" Kimmy added

before Kimmy and Maxim could leave Joan alone they saw Nick waving towards their direction.

"oh my goodness is he waving at us" maxim said

"who?" Kimmy asked

"the campus fallen angel, the most handsome guy on campus, he has the smile of the devil and Everytime he smiles he draws you into temptation." maxim said

"where? Kimmy asked

"over there, ahh he's coming over here. tell me do I look pretty" maxim said

who are the fantasizing about? Joan asked and looked forward to see Nick walking towards them and she smiled.

was Nick the one they were fantasizing about?

indeed he was, any girl that saw Nick will turn again to look at him to confirm if what they saw was reality or dream.

Joan for the first time took time to appreciate her friend's beauty.

"hey! are you done? shall we go" Nick asked

and Joan just nodded, he held her hand and led her from there, they took a stroll around the campus and he showed her everything she needed to know.

They got back to Joan's hostel and Nick took his jacket off and laid on Joan's bed

"let me rest for a while I had a stressful night" after saying that he slept off

Joan watched Nick on her bed for a while and smiled.
