11 A FIGHT BREAKS OUT

As soon as he saw Nat jumping at him with two black daggers in her hands, Ren too quickly takes out his sword out and defends. Although he is an archer, he learned the basics of sword so that he wont be that helpless in close combat.

After the initial clash, Nat backs away from him. Clearly, she is too weak to handle him, there is almost 2 whole ranks difference between them. But she didn't falter because she know that his main weapon is bow and he cant do much with the swords, even so his strength is not to be underestimated.

But she don't need to defeat him, she just need to stall some time so that Elena can finish him off with one of her finishing attacks. Thinking so, she once again runs towards him with her maximum speed and attacks at his neck, but he simply blocks or dodges her attacks with so much ease that it looks like he isnt giving his all.

In the mean time, Elena gathered all of her mana to power her attack to its limit and she suddenly moves towards him with her full speed. Her sword is glowing with blue colour, emitting a cold aura. The room temperature is decreasing very quickly, feeling this Ren takes his eyes from Nat looks at Elena who is coming towards him with mana coating all over her sword. Looking at her, he gets a bad feeling and he pushes Nat with his full force and pours his mana out of his body to form a shield to block her attack.

Coming close to him Elena shouts, " Freezing slash" and slashes her sword at him, unfortunately, a shield forms between her and Ren and her sword stops after coming into contact with the shield. Seeing that Elena's sword was stopped by his shield, a smile forms on Ren's face, and just when he was about to say something, cracks started to appear on his shield, before he can think what's happening, he can see that his shield is getting frozen and then later cracking due to power of Elena's attack.

Within no time, his shield brakes into small pieces making a glass breaking sound and the sword is coming towards him. Seeing the sword coming towards him at astonishing speed, Ren puts up his sword and get ready to block the incoming attack and let his mana and his wind element flow into his sword.

BANGGGG!!!!!!!

There is a loud sound that came after the clash of the two swords blasting the walls of the room and dust rises all around the place. Suddenly a figure flows out from the dust and falls out in the ground inside the guild premises.

The figure that flew out is none other than Ren. He successfully blocked the attack but he cant with stand the force of it and flies into the open ground breaking a wall of his room. Hearing the commotion, all the members in the guild comes running towards the ground only to see Ren struggling to stand.

Cough... cough...

After standing, he coughs a couple of times vomiting blood. His face pales considerably, normally if anyone of same rank of Elena when received her attack would be seriously wounded or maybe dies after receiving her attack, but since Ren is more that a rank higher than Elena and Elena herself broke through initial stages of rank3 recently, he some how survived the attack.

Walking through the wall is Nat holding onto weakened Elena who can barely move her body. She used all of her strength in her previous attack and since Ren blocked the attack to some extent so, she suffered a little backlash and thus weakened.

Letting Elena to sit on a floor with the wall on her back to support her, Nat rushes towards the staggering Ren to finish him off quickly, taking the advantage that he is now weakened. Looking at Nat coming at full speed towards him, Ren curses and tries to gather his mana, "shit..... stop there you bitch. Don't come near me."

And later he shouts," Someone, stop that bitch, she is trying to kill the guild captain."

Hearing him, no body moves forward. Since, they all are weaker than Nat individually. Although they can stop her assault if they all ganged up on her, but most of the people are loyal to Alfred and they know about Nat and Elena, they are calm and collected and wont act rashly, no matter how much you provoke them. So they came to a conclusion that Ren must have crossed a line with them for them to attack him and they all hate Ren due to the new rules he established which hurts them. So they all stands still and watches the show.

Seeing that no one is coming to his rescue, gritting his teeth, Ren also summons all his strength and run towards Nat and attacks.

Clank.. clank...

The sword and the daggers clashed making some sharp sounds. It is clear from the clash that Ren is obviously having hard time to continue the fight. Looking at him, Nat relentlessly attacks him, Ren can only defend against Nat continuous sharp attacks at his vitals. After defending her attacks for few minutes, Ren is getting more desperate, his strength is getting drained after every move he makes even all of the moves he made are meant to defend himself.

Ren is getting into a corner, he knows that he cant defend for more time and no one is coming to help him. All the vice captains who listens to him aren't still here at the guild since it is early in the morning. Just when he is starting to lose hope, Darren and the other 2 vice captains comes to guild.

And looking at the commotion happening, as 'responsible' vice captains, they immediately rushed to the guild grounds to look at the commotion which is happening there. And they were shocked to their core looking at the shy high rank2 assassin who is always too timid to talk to others is fiercely attacking the peak rank4 new captain and the more shocking thing is that the captain is getting pushed back and it seems he cant hold on anymore.

So they immediately rushed to his aid. Darren moves in front of Ren to shield him and the remaining vice captains tries to hold down the Nat. After that they some how stopped the assault. Darren quickly takes Ren to his room and is shocked to see a big hole in place of the wall and after reaching the room, Darren takes out a couple of healing potions and gives to Ren, and Ren quickly drinks the healing potions.

He is recovering at a visible rate and within minutes, he regains his colour on his face and in an hour, he seems to reach his peak condition.

After the vice captains holds down Nat, before they do anything to her, all the people who are silently watching till then, circles the 2 people who is holding Nat. Seeing that they got surrounded, they leaves Nat and then goes to the captains room immediately. Nat then quickly runs towards Elena and gives her healing and mana potions and takes her back to her room to let her rest.
