Angel

Breaking the kiss, Ian pulled himself out rolling onto the bed taking Iris in his embrace, letting her rest on his chest.

Mindlessly carresing her back with gentle strokes, lost in his thoughts.

Although happy of how things turned out in the end, he couldn't help how all of this felt different, he felt pulled to her, she felt familiar and yet he had never met Iris before and he was sure about it. All this was just strange and he couldn't help but wonder.

" My little angel" Ian spoke in soft tone suprising himself at what just came out of his mouth.

"Hmmm" Iris hummed into his chest a bit out of it, as she was feeling sleepy.

" Have we met before?" he asked to make sure, if they would have met before, he would have definitely remembered if they did.

"I don't think so, I would have remembered you if we did, but everything about you feels familiar and I feel as if I can't keep myself away from you" she explained while her fingers were roaming on his chest tracing it.

" I feel the same about you, my little angel!" he hummed while his eyes fell on her fingers.

Taking her hand to have closer look, he got up with her in tow and started looking for the marks that she had earlier from the wounds that marred her body. unable to find any trace as if she had never had them.

" You're are healed, there are no marks or scars, like they never existed " he said in disbelief

" That can't be right, right?" suprised at what Ian just said

" No, you healed faster than most but the marks left behind take a little longer to fade away" his eyebrows furrowed and a worried look on his face.

He pushed her hair aside from her shoulder to have a look at the reddish mark she had on her shoulder. He had a suspicion that the mark might have something to do with all of this. He had seen drawings of similar marks in some parchments that the travelers carried with them but he had never bothered to ask since he had thought that they must seals from various guilds, which he couldn't care less about.

" It's different from what it was before and bigger not by much though." he said while studying the mark, things were getting even stranger at this point.

" I haven't seen yours yet! Can I have a look? You said that it's similar to mine." she was starting to get worried and scared at this point, what was going on?.

Ian nodded and brought his shoulder forward so she can have look at it.

Iris looked at the mark and couldn't find anything wrong with it since this was the first time she was seeing it.

" How does mine look like?" She asked Ian so she could confirm initial thought on this matter, that somehow they were linked together by an invisible bond.

" Hmmm...It's a circle on top of a star with with two more lines in the middle wrapped around each other in a full circle." he tried his best to explain the mark.

" Yours looks just like me! she said in a high picked voice shocked at what she just heard.
