Many different types of animals, monsters and demons of all species had certain aspects of them which created each of their habits during combat or made them predictable after fighting them more than once.
Each of those movements and abilities could be put into different categories as skills by the system during the dungeon area like leaping, biting, scratching and sensing skills.
Those certain skills used by each of them were of different grades depending on the species using them and their overall mastery.
Once a jaguar had appeared and stalked around the area to get to the Gremlin's who were dealing with the boar, it was noticed by Inis who did not fear running into it.
The jaguar picked up on the scent of blood nearby and saw its prey so it leapt towards Inis who ran towards it.
Enhanced strength, agility, endurance, stealth, flexibility, balance, leap and climbing was far above Inis so it covered more ground than her as it approached.
It leapt towards her into the air to deliver a powerful bite but Inis had experiences of the same things happening to her within the dungeon which allowed her to react to it quickly.
It was all too familiar and predictable which made it look much slower in movements as it approached.
Time seemed to slow down as Inis rolled forward under the leaping jaguar at the best timing possible then raised her curved knife up into the air.
She passed under the reach of the claws which moved to grab onto her then when the bone knife had entered the chest area, she held it in place as there was some resistance.
When the legs came into view, she rolled to the side to avoid them and to stay out of the way of the falling jaguar.
A large and deep cut went down from the rib area towards the lower belly which caused the blood to spill out from the wounds along with some internal organs which fell towards the ground.
The jaguar fell down onto the ground face first followed by the rest of the body.
It moved a little to struggle onto its feet but it quickly bled out and died with a bone dagger hanging out of the bottom of the wound.
Most feline creatures that had strong leaping abilities usually always leapt onto their prey when going for the kill so it was simple for an experienced hunter to counter it or turn the attack to their advantage in battle.
The weight of the jaguar's body was moving through the air towards the ground which would only lower it further into the curved bone knife which was pointed upwards and was supported by Inis.
Not a lot of strength was needed to stab the knife into its body or make the cut down the chest area because the force of the leaping jaguar did that for her.
A lone hunting predatory animal was dealt with in a single exchange by Inis because of her experience.
The jaguar seemed to possess greater abilities than a normal one which Inis was able to notice upon viewing its display of strength so she had to adjust very quickly to the battle and take it into account.
There was a slight fluctuation of energy coming from it which suggested that it was not an ordinary animal and was instead one that had evolved.
Upon evolving it would begin to have even greater physical and sensory abilities along with many other improvements but it was unlucky enough to come across Inis who had stepped into the same stage of strength and was undergoing the same process of evolution.
An attractive smell hit the nose of Inis and the other Gremlins who had drooled upon smelling it.
The flesh smelled very special to them as if their bodies were crying out for them to eat it.
Inis regained her rational mind for a moment then stepped back as she watched Remli and Kreg jump onto the dead body.
They bit into the body and tore off pieces of the jaguar as they followed their instincts and desires.
Inis observed and pressed her hand over her grumbling stomach. 'It seems like this is some kind of evolutionary need or a basic sense for creatures to tell what would be beneficial to help eat what will help their growth and survival. The energy within the flesh still remains and should remain until the body starts to decompose so those that eat it may receive benefits so long as their digestion and bodies can handle it.'
She looked over as Kreg started to bite deeper onto the thigh area where the bone was so Inis rushed over and pushed him back. "Flesh! No bone!"
The three of them each gave in to their hunger and started to devour the Jaguar very quickly leaving nothing but the bones and pieces of the pelt remaining.
The bones and skin were added to the things being carried back to the camp as Inis was welcomed to the sight of many of her things being stolen or destroyed.
An annoyed look was on her face as she stomped into her cave and then sat crosslegged with her eyes closed.
The traces of energy within her body were very small and were impure so they did not help her growth too much after absorbing, refining and circulating it all through her body so it suggested that her growth was slower or she needed purer energy or elixirs to help increase the rate of her evolution.
The matter ingestion seemed to play a big role in protecting her from any harmful effects of eating the evolved flesh which could have had strong consequences for eating it for an ordinary person unless they knew how to properly process it for human consumption.
When her eyes opened again, a cold and cruel smile appeared on her face which was followed by her walking from her cave towards the other Gremlins in the area while carrying a long piece of bone from one of the leg joints of the previous kills. 'Time for a little punishment.'
The hunchback Gremlin walked in front of her with a stern look in its eyes then pointed towards the bone she had in her hands then towards the cave.
It seemed to be stopping her from attacking the others and sending her back to the cave so she was even more annoyed. "Once.. I will once!"
Inis took a deep breath and calmed down before heading back to her cave to release her built up energy in another way.
Two more flesh like balls were released from her body before she was feeling a little tired so she went back into her meditation state to circulate and gather back her expended energy.
The hunchback Gremlin saw that Inis had been staying within the cave for a long time so he stopped standing guard and went to observe the activities of the other Gremlins.
To him, he was just maintaining the peace in the tribe and breaking or stealing things was a common occurrence.
There was no need to shed blood over such things so he had stopped Inis before she caused others within the tribe harm and made an enemy out of them all.
Since she was born, there had already been some deaths within the tribe and he had been overseeing the growth and births of the tribe so he prioritised keeping the population as large and united as possible to ensure their survival against greater predators.
Although Inis had been able to take down a single jaguar alone and could probably handle many others, facing a large group that attacked all at once would be something that even she would struggle with.
Shortly after he had settled down near the cave to oversee the new borns arrivals and grant them a name, he heard the sounds from within which were from Inis who was sharpening and shaping the bones into more deadly tools for hunting and survival.
The hunchback Gremlin stayed where he was during the night so that the others would not go near Inis and incur her wrath during the night.
The boar and leopard bones were far more durable than the others so they would make far more useful offensive and defensive tools.
Early in the morning, two bones lay by the side of Inis who slept which were similar to the curved daggers but were longer in length and looked very sharp.
They were her best works from those she had worked on during the night which suited her style of combat best.
Compared to the shorter curved daggers, the curved blades could cut much deeper and rend more flesh or bone.
Since they were made from the bones of the hind legs of the jaguar which was an evolved creature, it was even more durable so it would not break too easily unless it was met with a stronger and more durable creature or weapon.
Upon waking up, Inis lifted the two blades and started to familiarise herself with them as she spun around and performed swift movements one after another. 'I will name you Guar one and two."
Upon getting dressed and preparing herself for the day ahead, Inis was dressed up from head to toe in clothing which made her resemble a barbarian tribe member even more than before.
The runic markings on her body were barely visible underneath her clothing and the weapons hanging from her body but they looked very unique and added to her wild look.
Kreg and Remli were waiting outside and still had stains on their mouths and clothing from their meal the day before which was from the meat which had been brought back from the boar but that was not what Inis had noticed about them right away.
