River
Lily is nervous.
I can't tell from what exactly but she is and she can not meet my gaze since the moment we walked out of my parents' place.
"Did my mom say something?" She jumps slightly from my voice and I narrow my eyes at the flinch.
What could make her so jumpy?
"Uh," she stops fidgeting on her seat and turns to me, eyeing the privacy screen between us and the driver and my personal guard. "Do you have to go to the office today?" She asks in a very shy low voice and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"I have a few bills to go through and a spee-"
"Are they urgent?" She cuts me off, voice still shy but with a little bit more spark to it.
"Not really." I decide, if she is on to something I want to be a part of it.
She gives me a small dazzling smile before reaching forward to take my hand in hers.
I like where this is going.
