Douglas and Ivy

"So what is the freaking plan?" Leonor asked after a while of calm.

Sanchez said, "I think I know the two people you speak of. Their names are Douglas and Ivy. Douglas has three Grade six Wild-Tigers. Ivy has two and a Black-Newt."

"You can bring them to our side, right?"

Duarte reasoned, "If the Dark Lord knows of our operations and doesn't say a word about them, I don't see a problem with bringing over Douglas and Ivy."

Sanchez said to Duarte, "That creep would nullify our efforts to bring those two over to our side. The creep not saying a word about our operations is just him being careful."

Jade coughed. No one paid attention to her.

"So we are in a tight spot? The Dark Lord is smarter than I thought."

Sanchez said, "I have been in the spot light for too long and the Dark Lord wants it to continue. He wants to push the tribe against me. I think it is time that I retreated and let you guys run the show."

Jade scoffed at Sanchez, "Pussy."

Bruna warned Jade, "If you will not stop being obnoxious, we will let Sanchez have a field day clearing the cobwebs in your honey pot."

"What?!" Jade was terrified by the caution. She looked around and noticed that the others, except for Sanchez, grinned sinisterly at her.

Jade's face turned pale. "What the hell is wrong with all of you? Are you all sickos?"

Bruna said to Jade, "I wouldn't mind joining the action." She drew her face closer to Jade, "I have many tools."

Jade became very nervous. Her reaction satisfied Bruna.

Bruna said, "I suggest that two people from the group should handle matters instead of five of us."

Sanchez replied, "That's a nice suggestion. How about you and Duarte handle it, Bruna?"

Bruna and Duarte agreed to this. The group concluded that Bruna should approach Douglas and Ivy. While Duarte organised the band of people that would be part of the terror mission.

A year ago, Douglas and Ivy came under the guidance of the Dark Lord. Their parents willingly surrendered the rights of guardianship to the Dark Lord after he asked for it. The Dark Lord planned to groom them to be Master tier spell-binders that had spirit bodies.

Douglas was handsome, light-skinned, and 6 feet tall. He had afro hair. His body had a standard build with athletic muscularity.

Ivy had the normal weight build for a lady. She was beautiful and also light-skinned. She surprisingly had natural blonde hair that stopped at the level of her scapulas.

The two lived and trained at their home, which was not in Glory City. Their house was seven kilometres south-east of Glory City. The Dark Lord provided the two with the house after they turned 22 two months ago.

Their home had a very long yard around it. There was a lake south of their house, which was three hundred metres away. The two trained their powers and their demon pets around the lake.

Douglas and Ivy were not related in any way except that they belonged to the same tribe. The two were element-based spell-binders. Douglas was based on the liquid element, and Ivy was based on the soil element.

Douglas and Ivy were on tier 4 of the regular level of their respective elements. But they possessed Qi-stone-bodies, which were advantageous for them. Their bodies allowed them to conjure elements on a scale almost comparable to that of spell-binders in tier 2 of the Storm level.

By default, almost all liquid element-casters could only cast water when they started out until they reached a certain point in the storm tier. Douglas was not an exception.

Every spell-binder that cast an element could learn supplementary element/skill casting that was related to the element they casted. For example, liquid element-casters could learn ice casting, which was a supplementary skill.

Douglas and Ivy had commanded their demon pets to band against the two of them. They knew that their demon pets were way more powerful than them. Their demon pets may be in the Noble class, but they are all evolved descendants of lesser demon pets. That reason meant that their demon pets were more powerful than regular demon pets.

The Black Newt hopped into the lack and heated up the water, which caused the scene to be so foggy.

Douglas commended Ivy, "Your newt is as smart as you."

"Thank you."

Douglas pushed his arms sideways and held them in a 'halt command position'. Instantly, a globe of water shielded him and Ivy. Twenty boulders of golden fire slammed against the shield.

Ivy stared admiringly at him, "Nice reflexes."

Her stare made him feel uncomfortable because she looked sexy and it was distracting. He refocused on the task at hand. More boulders of fire slammed against the water shield, but this time there was a blue coloured boulder.

Ivy cursed quietly, "Sh*t! That freaking Newt, I thought she was a pacifist."

"Excuse me!" A yelling voice rang in their ears from outside the bubble. The voice sounded distant from them, and so it sounded like a normal pitched voice.

Douglas thought it was Ivy, "What's the problem?"

"It was not me. I think we have an intruder."
