look into my eyes!

"Are you ready?" Kyle softly asked Elise who nodded slightly, a dim purple light glowing in both her hands. It hadn't been that long, since Kyle and Elise were currently thrown into prison by their own will. Their plan to conquer this fox village still in motion, Felix had been asked to wait outside by Kyle a while ago.

Everything was beginning to set in place as the hour to strike was at hand, soon this peaceful village would turn into a chaotic hell.

'I'll handle her if she interferes.' Kyle inaudibly muttered, thinking about falcon. She was a three tailed fox so she could kill him with ease, because she was way stronger and faster than him. But he bet in his heart she wouldn't, after all she wanted to escape this place and he was the only one that could take her.

"It's time." Kyle's low voice was carried into the wind. Right now there were five guards patrolling the inside of the cells, four one tailed and a two tailed foxman.

"Hey! you." Kyle called out to a young foxman holding a sword, his eyes shone with pride staring at Kyle. In his mind, this human was just another bug he could squash.

"What?" He said aggressively a frown plastered on his face, slowly walking to Kyle's location.

"That's it just some more." Kyle inwardly said, ready to activate demon eyes. While he and Elise were in the prison he'd tried using his demon eyes skill on the one tailed foxes, but to his surprise they didn't work.

It was strange, but he'd come up with possible guesses as to why it didn't. First, for the skill to work he'd to directly stare into their eyes, which he couldn't because they were constantly on the move. Second, he considered the distance another factor hindering the skill, as it was a bit far and demon eyes couldn't yet cover far distances.

And lastly, he didn't want to gain much attention by exposing his skill in the open as it may backfire, he didn't want to gamble on that as it was a huge risk. So he wanted to first catch a prey by luring him closer to him, so demon eyes effectiveness wouldn't be hindered.

"I just wanted to know what your name is." Kyle said with a fake smile.

"And why the hell, would I tell a prisoner my name?" The creature frowned more, his blood boiling more faster.

"Come on! we're all friends here. And since we're going to see each other for a while now, it's best to get acquainted to ourselves." Kyle carefully spoke in a sweet voice, causing the foxman's face to contort more. Kyle was doing a good job distracting him, and also getting him pissed. He was going for a way to get the foxman guard down, while also drawing him closer to him.

'Stupid~' Kyle thought seeing his plan working. He had carefully sought out this foxman, as his will was lower than the rest. if it were the other guards, he might've had a harder time tricking them into coming close to him.

"You sure are cocky for guy who's behind bars." The mystical animal spoke in a pitched tone, his words contained bits of anger. Slowly stepping to Kyle, with rage written all over his expression.

'Only ten seconds left.' Kyle had memorized the time the guards would walk up to their location, before switching with another guard. He'd estimated about 20 seconds and he'd currently used half of it, clock was ticking fast and he needed to get things done.

"The only reason you're still alive, is because team leader said so." He scorned standing a few meters from Kyle.

"Oh! then I should be grateful to her."

"Of course insect! You're just a prey waiting to be devoured. She's still curious about you, but when she loses interest I'll be glad to ask her for the honours in killing you." He grinned evily, an irritable smirk plastered all over his face.

'We'll see about that when I rip your head out.'

"Sighs! And here I thought you were important.' Kyle shook his head, causing the latters face to contort.

"W-what did you say?" He growled raising a brow.

"I said you aren't important. You still have to take orders from falcon, before you could even kill me. Pathetic~" Kyle slightly shook his head in disappointment, he could visibly see the foxman's body shaking with anger.

"You piece of shit. I dare you to say that again!" He roared, a thin green line of vein bulging on his forehead. Kyle was afraid his body might explode from anger, the way he acted right now.

"I didn't know you were deaf." Kyle grinned. "Am afraid you won't hear me. I would've asked you to come closer, but I didn't know if falcon granted you permission." Kyle slowly said, arching each words into the foxman's ear. He saw the latter froze a bit a blank expression on his face, his eyes twitching slightly.

"You know.. I don't think team leader would mind if I killed you." A crazy look written on his face, as he closed the gap between him and Kyle. His sword already out from it's sheathe, a sinister smile formed on his face.

'Wrong move.' Kyle smiled, a murderous killing intent aura looming from his body. Seizing the opportunity his eyes immediately turned red, the activation of his demon eyes present. Seeing the sudden change of aura from Kyle dazzled the creature, a cold sensation like that of sharp ice grazing his body slid down his spine.

He was struggling to breath, as Kyle's murderous aura excluded from his body keeping him abay. He wanted to run escape this terrifying presence, but his body turned a deaf ear as he stared into the enticing red glowing eyes before him.

'5 seconds remaining I have to be quick.' Time had almost elapsed upon him, so he quickly gave out commands to his new puppet, seeing he was fully under his control.

"Quick! the keys." Kyle hurriedly said, stretching his hands forth. He'd tried to use his strength to break the wooden bars, but they were surprisingly stronger than his current strength.

"Yes master." Nodding his head obiediently, he passed the keys to Kyle.

Now pretend to be hurt.

'2 seconds.' Kyle could already sense the next guard approaching, it wouldn't be long before they were seen.

Because they were extremely close only the wooden bars demarcating them, Kyle held back most of his strength punching the foxman's chest, sending him backwards into a wall. The latter hit his head hard against the wall cracking it slightly blood seeping out, the foxman passed out to the ground.

'Great!' Kyle rolled his eyes. he'd just wanted to hurt the latter a little, which was why he held back a lot. But they were extremely close, and his punch packed much force than the expected. There was nothing he could do as the next guard was now approaching them, ,with a look of shock.

"Drew!" This fox lady screamed, rushing over to where her comrade laid. The first thing which caught here eyes, was the injured member laying down bleeding from the head.

Kneeling down she didn't have time to think about what happened, her goal was to save her bleeding comrade from dying. Placing her hands on the open wound she pressed firmly, intending to stop the blood until she heard the sound of the wooden door creak open.

Her eyes went wide, as she slowly turned her head around. There in front were the locked up prisoners, standing before her with a smug look. Her heart raced reality dawning on her, she wanted to move but she couldn't gazing into Kyle's red eyes.

'Two down. Three to go.' Kyle grinned. He had already acquired two more slaves, with his mind. He still had about 12 seconds left before another guard came, but he wasn't going to wait. When this fox lady screamed, he knew the other three guards inside had heard it, as he could sense their body coming towards here. He wasn't scared in the slightest but instead overjoyed, he was planning on testing something out.

'Darn it.. why am I so strong.' Kyle chuckled to himself, shaking his head. He was impressed at the level of his strength, even when he still held back. But he was a bit upset on the other hand, as he'd knocked Drew out leaving him with her.

"They're here." Elise softly spoke, pulling him out from his thoughts. He could see the three guards standing there with confused looks, the two tailed in the middle.

"Can I take care of them?" Elise playfully tugged on Kyle's arm, with puppy eyes.

"Of course! Have fun." Kyle nodded. They were only two one tailed not under his control, and the two tailed wasn't going to act stupidly. he could sense some level of intelligence above the others, besides he wanted to see his woman in action.

With a light smile Elise waved her hands at the trio, her hands glowing red as she muttered a skill.

"Flaming scatter shot." Three ball shaped flames about the size of a basketball, formed in thin air shooting forward. The two one tailed were a bit front so they were the first to encounter Elise flaming balls, but they weren't fazed sidestepping easily avoiding the balls. There was a grin on their faces as they thought they'd avoided danger, but their faces immediately turned grim.

"Scatter!" Elise chanted, and the flame balls immediately burst into smaller golf sized balls, exploding everywhere dealing damage to their skins.

"Argh!" They screamed in pain falling to their knees, clutching their bodies. The flames had died out, but Kyle could still see them writhing in pain.

"Does it have a burning effect?" Kyle thought staring at Elise.

"Yes. Their bodies will still feel the flames, scorching their skins for 3 minutes." Elise smiled, as Kyle nodded in acknowledgement. Her skill was somehow related to his but unlike his which wouldn't stop melting the skin, hers had a time limit.

There was a bit of concern, on the two tailed foxman face see Elise cast skills. He didn't expect her to know such an annoying skill, but he'd be extremely careful now he knew.

Elise then formed several water bullets floating in the air, she was a bit sweaty because her mana was being drained more by this skill.

"Go!" She shouted the water bullets shooting out, heading straight for the creature. The expression on the foxman's face was calm, as he readied himself for the oncoming bullets.

'Bang! bang! bang!' Several small bang sounds went off as the water bullets hit the floor, walls, everywhere. Kyle was amazed at how fast he moved dodging most of the bullets, he was doing well keeping up with the pace of the bullets.

"Argh!" He groaned as one hit his shoulder, it sent a stinging pain throughout his nerves. He was fast but Elise bullets were also fast, and she was constantly producing more by the second.

'That one's troublesome.' He glanced at Elise amidst the running. He then did something strange spinning his body fast, small unknown objects that cut through the air were released from his hands to Elise.

The latter had managed to see it hence cancelling her water skill, erecting an earth barrier just enough to cover her body up to her head.

'Bang! bang! bang!' Another three sets of bang sounds went off, and Kyle could see Elise earth barrier was dented the places the strange dart object hit. The barrier then slowly rose down to mud form, revealing Elise who was panting and sweaty all over.

Kyle could see Elise wasn't the same her body was more clumsier, looking closer that's when he saw one of the strange brown darts stuck in her shoulder.

"Your shoulder." Kyle shouted to her.

"Huh?" She was surprised she'd gotten hit. the moment the two tailed foxman did that strange move, she'd raised an earth barrier to block but she still got hit.

"Argh!" She tried to pull it out but couldn't, it was like she touched hot coal.

"Your mage is impressive, but she's no match for me. You're all going to die now." The foxman grinned walking forward. Kyle's blood was boiling by the second, and seeing Elise hurt made his anger rise more.

[Killing intent: 24]

'Boom!' A small explosion had occured, as Kyle was now standing were the foxman stood his fist forward. Kyle was really upset when he saw Elise in that state, rage filled his eyes. He wasn't thinking at all using his full speed to reach the foxman punching forward with all his strength, he saw the latter block by crossing his hands to his chest but he didn't care.

The fist connected and the latter was sent skidding back, a crooked smile on his face.

"I didn't expect anyone of your kind to ever do that to me." He chuckled a bit, his eye shone with deadly intent.

"My kind? You don't fucking know me!" Kyle screamed charging forward. in no moment he'd reached the latter location, sending out a series of fist and kicks. Some which the foxman dodged or took head on, sending out strikes of his own.

'Bang! bang!' It was a full brawl out battle between Kyle and this two tailed foxman, each party receiving blows from one another. It was crazy how they were still standing, from the insane blows and damages they received.

'Bam!' Kyle was sent crashing into a wall, his left arm broken but the healing effect already kicking in. He had a sinister smile on his face, wiping his blood and sending a kick to the foxman's head. The latter simply blocked by extending his arm taking Kyle's attack, but he regretted that as he could hear a few bones snap in his right arm.

"Argh! Why won't you just die!" He roared, grabbing Kyle's leg jerking his body of the ground, slamming him hard into the floor. A small crater formed where Kyle landed, some bones in his spine had been broken.

"You've lost." The foxman had a smut look, seeing Kyle struggling to get back to his feet. He could taste the smell of victory already.

"Any last words boy?" He bent his head a little, with a mocking smile.

"Look into my eyes!" Kyle's eye glowed red" causing the latter to shift back a few steps from him.

"W-what did you do to me!" He roared clutching his eyes. Kyle had a motionless face his spine had now healed, placing his hands to the floor he struggled back to his feet.

Kyle saw the other two one tailed had now stopped screaming in pain, indicating three minutes had passed. He also saw they were confounded by what was a muddy substance, that had hardened. Looking over at Elise, he could see she gave him a thumbs up leaning against the wall.

A painful smile formed on his lips, as he looked at the creature responsible for this.

[Killing intent: 36]

"Y-you I'll kill you!" He ranted tossing the dart everywhere like a mad man, his eyes still not fully functioning well.

"Shut up!" Kyle punched both his shoulders dislocating them, stomping his toes causing him to forcefully writhe in pain.

"Now we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Please choose the hard way." Kyle said in a deep voice containing malice.
