Jaxon
I looked up when there was a knock on my office door. Max came in quickly. He’d been wearing the same expression for days now. The one that let me know he didn’t approve of the choices I was making. I sighed. I wanted to reassure him that this was for the best and everything would be alright, but I didn’t have the words.
"Antonio is here and I’ve gathered everyone together. We are just waiting for you," he stated.
I smiled and stood up. I moved around and leaned against the desk with my arms crossed.
"That’s great. Why don’t you tell everyone to wait a little bit. I want you, Oliver and Antonio in here for a chat first," I replied.
Max offered a weak smile, obviously pleased that I remembered. He nodded and disappeared behind the door.
