"Alright, so everything is a go?" Jaxon asked, loudly in his office. I could hear the voice on the other end but not clear enough to decipher what they were saying. Jaxon waited a moment before laughing out loud. "Yeah, thanks for that." Pause. "This has been truly helpful. Thank you so much." 


Jaxon hung up the phone and I quickly pushed open the doors into his office. He looked at me like a deer in headlights. 


"Sara, what’s going on, honey?" he asked, closing his computer screen. 


"What was that call about? What are you working on?" I demanded. I moved over to the chair, struggling with the weight of my growing belly. Jaxon looked immediately concerned, but I waved him off. "It’s fine, I’m fine. I’m just not used to carrying so much weight. Who were you talking to on the phone?" I asked again.
