I sat at my small desk in my bedroom, making sure I could hear the monitor on the table, in case the kids woke up earlier than expected. I loved listening to the soft sounds of their breathing. It was soothing in a way that nothing else ever would be. I relaxed into the sound and started working.
I knew I should be sleeping while the children were sleeping, but I was still awake and feeling rested. I wanted to get some real work done.
I was actually sleeping through the night and able to keep myself healthy now that I wasn’t so stressed about my children. I hadn’t had a chance to focus on a lot of my writing since everything had happened with Dana, or really since Cameron was born. It felt good to get back into it.
Clearly, I had missed writing stories because the ideas just flowed out of me. I finished up the rest of the book and sent out more projects for approval for Jaxon. I felt really accomplished and proud of myself for getting so much done.
