Chapter-6

It was Thursday morning and just a regular day at school. Everything was going according to the plan. There was just one thing left, talking to Olivia about the football match. We were in the playground during our lunch break. I reminded Charlie secretly to talk about it.

"I have a football match tomorrow and my parents can't come as they are leaving for Brisbane tomorrow for some urgent work. Can y'all come?" asked Charlie. "Umm.. actually I have weekend plans. We are leaving for Melbourne tomorrow and will be coming back on Sunday evening. I'm sorry." I said apologetically. "I have dance classes tomorrow at 3. I had missed it last week. So I'll have to go tomorrow anyhow." said Mathilde. "There's a housewarming party at my mum's friend's place. I promised that I'll go with her." said Cami. "Olivia, you?" asked Charlie. "I can come I'm free tomorrow. We'll directly meet here." said Olivia. "Ok great" grinned Charlie. "And can I stay back in your house tomorrow night? There's no one at my house tomorrow." asked Charlie. "Yes of course." said Olivia. "Hey, I'm going to washroom. Don't leave for class without me." Olivia said and left.

We all gave each other high fives as our plan was successful till now. "She remembers it's her birthday tomorrow, right?" said Mathilde. "Maybe or maybe not." said Cami. "I'm glad she agreed to come. Y'all can do the preparations without any worries." said Charlie. "I hope everything goes smoothly." I said. "Tomorrow there's a off day at school because of the football match preparations. So maybe we won't be able to meet tomorrow morning. Charlie, give any one of us a missed call before you two will leave. So that we can be prepared." said Cami. "Yeah sure." said Charlie. Olivia came and we left for the class.

Next day evening we reached home at time right after Olivia left for the match. I rang the bell. She opened the door. "So punctual you girls are." said Mrs Thomas. "Good evening Mrs Thomas." We all greeted her together. Without wasting any time we started the preparations. Mrs Thomas helped us too. I had ordered the cake and it got delivered at 7:pm just on time. Charlie gave me a missed call at 7:30. "It's Charlie's missed call they must be here any minute." I said excitedly. After 10 mins Mrs Thomas switched off the lights. Right after two minutes, Olivia and Charlie reached. "Grandma slept early today?" said Olivia and opened the door and switched on the lights. "Surprise!" We all screamed.
