“After you had left, everything had gone downhill…” Cynthia sighed as Zalena had gotten her tea and she had taken a sip of it. “He didn’t believe it at first, he claimed the elders had gone mad and he had signed no such papers… But the elders had brought the divorce papers over and showed them to him.”
“And then… Let me guess, he figured out that I had forged his signature?” Zalena questioned, but Cynthia shook her head in response to the question.
“Actually no, he had first blamed it on one of the omegas that he had slept with, he at least held you to a bit of a higher standard. He claimed the omega had kept going on and on about how she had wanted to be the Luna. He didn’t ask her any questions, just went off the deep end and tried to attack her. His beta, Erik, tried to keep him under control.” Cynthia swallowed hard and took a moment to compose herself.
