Aisha teleported back to her place after knowing that one piece of information. Regarding Warrior 0, she decided to wait and see what Ophelia will bring her back, and based on that, she can decide what she will do next.
Until then, it's time for her to move and find the so-called fortune-teller.
She attended the rest of her classes and walked back home, when she reached it, she kissed her parents and told them she'll be going to stay with a friend for two nights because they need to prepare for a project.
The two didn't protest and told her to stay careful and that if she needed anything, she could contact them, and they'd be at the front door in a second. Aisha hugged them both after she prepared her bags proving she'll be leaving for a short period.
Before the door was shut, her father sent her some money in case she wanted anything if the two girls decided to go shopping the next day or something, he even asked her to drive her to the girl's house but Aisha told him it was not even far so she can go there walking.
Finally, she escaped them and walked to an alley before she took a deep breath. Her body started trembling as a circle of dark mana formed beneath her, she put a lot of mana into it until it started to glow informing her the location she thought of was ready for her to teleport to. Her tensed muscles became in pain from the strength she had put into herself, thanks to that, when she reached her destination, her body fell, and she sat there motionless until she started feeling her body again.
A man entered the alley she was hiding in, the sound of his footsteps bothered Aisha's momentary peace, "General Hayden, I knew a man with silent feet"
"I indeed am, but this time I wanted to make sure you're still alive"
"Haha, if I wasn't, I wouldn't be here in the first place. I will probably be ashes or stuck in the middle of dimensions"
"I always wondered how it feels to go through those gates"
"Trust me, you don't want to try that. It felt like my body was getting ripped apart even though I was a whole, the sensation itself made me feel it was real, and at some point, I saw my body vanish slowly like... Dandelions" Hayden listened closely to her explanation in astonishment, he never thought Aisha would say that much and express that much. It was new but relaxing since she had a soothing voice he had never heard before, so hearing her talk was comforting.
"And if you were dead, the dark mana wouldn't be released like that" his eyes were purple while he stared intensely at her. Aisha's cheeks turned red, she put one hand on her cheek and let the coldness from it calm her down.
The two left the alley and walked to a hotel Hayden had booked. Aisha threw her heavy body on the comfy bed and released a long and exhausted sigh.
"Is the gloomy weather around you good?" Hayden teased her.
"Shut up" she groaned while crawling under the heavy, warm blanket. Hayden watched and shook his head after giggling at her wondering how a young girl like her could own something destructive like Dark Mana.
"So-" Aisha started after she managed to hide under the blanket and warm herself, "- About that Witch. What else do you know about her?"
"Ask and I'll answer. This will be easier for us two"
"I talked enough for today, Hayden"
"Hahaha, don't be an introvert now, master. Just ask so you can get your answers" Aisha sighed and hid under the blanket for minutes before she popped her head out and looked at Hayden who was now sitting on a chair a few feet away from her, on hand, he held a cup of drink and rolled it between his long and slender fingers. He had his shirt's top buttons unbuttoned, the same for the sleeves, he had even troubled himself to pull them up to his elbows.
"What does she look like?"
"Hmm, not beautiful but not ugly. She had a beauty like any other lady out there"
"Please don't compare a lady who had lived for centuries with one who had been living for 2 decades and already filled her face and body with Botox or whatever they call that shit" Hayden blinked at her reply and couldn't hold himself from laughing so hard at her. His laugh took too long to calm down and when it had he was met by two ice orbs.
"Ahem, uhm. What's your next question?"
"Why did she start helping Dark Mana masters?"
"Remember how we mentioned she wasn't uhm favored by people especially when the church took control? By a way or another, she had crossed paths with the first master, we still don't know how that happened, but it did, and she promised to be loyal to him and his ascends ever since that mysterious day"
"I see" Aisha laid flat on the bed and released a long sigh, "don't wake me up" Hayden knew why so he nodded and left the room after closing the curtains and turning off the light.
Aisha stared at the ceiling with empty thoughts, she felt something was missing in her life, and she indeed knows but doesn't know how to claim it back... Yet.
"When the hell are you planning to come back System 0?" She shut her eyes and drifted into her dream lands hoping for that day to come soon.
