Ella couldn't conceal her boredom any longer; it had been many hours. That's because it was just the males who had been chatting up a storm up until that point. She started to wonder what their purpose was there. Why bother just to sit with the guys?

A few females had already came in and poured themselves some drinks. She listened to them talk nevertheless, and found it entertaining to see the two packs argue and almost attack each other until Spenser stepped in. It took a lot of back-and-forth, but he was able to reconcile the two Alphas and settle the dispute.
