Chapter 30: Level 10(2)

The dungeon Hunting Ground was a good choice for Aakesh to gain some XP, but it only allowed adventurers below Level 5 to enter, so Aakesh lost his chance at it the moment he cleared the Tough level of difficulty.

The destination in his mind was the second dungeon, The Weaker Wolf's Den. Its name was such since the third and most challenging dungeon was also titled "The Wolf's Den." It only allowed adventures between Level 7 and Level 10 to enter, so now that Aakesh had reached the minimum requirement, he chose it as his next target.

Similar to the Hunting Ground, The Weaker Wolf's Den also had three levels of difficulty: easy, normal, and tough.

Only a maximum of five adventurers could enter the easy level; for the normal level, the team limit grew to seven adventurers; and for the tough level, ten adventurers could enter in a team.

The difficulty of the two dungeons was on another level since the Hunting Ground was an entry level dungeon, while the Weaker Wolf's Den was for those players that had somewhat understood the basics of the game.

When Aakesh reached there, he found already people waiting there, but their numbers were not even half of what the Hunting Ground had.

"Need one Level 10 adventurer!"

"Need three Level 10 adventurers!"

"Need one adventurer!"

"Do you want to join our team?" As Aakesh was traveling, suddenly someone asked him.

There were already six players available on the team, and they were only waiting for one more to join them. Two of the six were Level 10, while the other four were Level 9.

Aakesh was thinking of trying to solo clear the dungeon in all three difficulties, so he was going to refuse them.

But before Aakesh could refuse, the sudden emergence of an alert caused a ruckus.

[Congratulations, adventurer, Beautiful Stalker, for solo clearing tough level difficulty, "The Cursed Tomb"!]

"Hey, where did he go?" Calming down after hearing the worldwide alert, the man turned around, only to find that Aakesh wasn't present.

"Are you looking for a team member?" Before the man could search for Aakesh, a female adventurer came from behind and asked the man.

The man forgot about Aakesh and added the player to his team. At that time, Aakesh was in the queue, waiting for his turn to arrive.

The queue wasn't long, so Aakesh only had to wait a few minutes before his turn arrived.

The officer stationed around here was clearly stronger than the previous one, as even when the man didn't speak, there was an unspeakable pressure coming from him.

The officer raised his head in surprise when it was Aakesh's turn. It wasn't due to him being solo, but because the officer felt strength from Aakesh that even a Level 10 adventurer shouldn't have.

"Alone?" The officer asked. Even his voice released the pressure on the adventurers.

Aakesh nodded, not feeling much pressure. The officer nodded in appreciation and then allowed Aakesh to step into the hundred-meter range.

Aakesh chose the easy level to set him up with the battle, and the next moment, a white light covered him. The next moment, he found himself in unfamiliar surroundings.

The inside of the dungeon was dimly lit, with flickering torched mounted on the walls randomly. Aakesh looked surprised as it was a man-made structure, and from what he saw, once it was a human settlement, the wolves attacked and captured the area.

The dried blood stain from an unknown time and signs of cracks due to claws proved Aakesh's conjecture.

Aakesh's face wrinkled as he noticed the foul smell that was emanating from every nook and cranny of the walkway. The floor was made up of rough, uneven stones, with wolves' excrement here and there.

Aakesh didn't even take a step forward when the sound of snarling and growling came from the other pathways. Soon, it turned into the padding of paws as the wolves were rushing toward him.

Aakesh's smell was out of place, so his appearance alerted them straight away.

It was only a pair of Level 7 Silver Wolves, so it didn't take Aakesh long to end their lives and earn some XP.

Aakesh left the area amidst the smell of blood, as he didn't gain anything from this hunt.

It didn't take Aakesh long to reach the boss of the dungeon.

In front of Aakesh stood a Level 8 wolf, snarling at him. The wolf and Aakesh made their movements at the same time.

The wolf's speed seemed not to matter as Aakesh easily bypassed its claws and slashed with his blade.

At that time, his blade was covered in dark light. It was as if the wolf's skin were paper; the sword passed through it, but before the blade could damage the vital organs, it suddenly stopped.

The wolf's eyes turned red as its body slightly expanded. Only Aakesh wasn't the one with skills.

The next moment, the wolf's speed decreased while its strength almost doubled.

Aakesh didn't dare to take a direct hit, so he fought with full concentration. Every time the wolf would miss an attack, Aakesh would slash.

Thud!

Finally, the battle ended, and Aakesh succeeded in splitting the wolf into two. The next moment, the wolf exploded into light particles.

Every first solo clear was rewarded with an item, so Aakesh's face was filled with excitement as he hurried toward the shining item on the ground.
