The Barrier Chronicles

A Young Man born and raised in a small estate far from anywhere important is always searching for excitement and one day he has a dream in which he sees a familiar patch of forest a few miles from the estate and whilst wandering through the trees he suddenly Hears something he's never heard before, An Arcane Explosion Rumbles through the air and shaking the forest itself tossing Him to the ground, As he stands he searches for the origin of the sound as it continues to rumble, Eventually he looks up through the canopy of sticks and leaves. Through the leaves he spots a discoloration in the sky so he runs to a nearby clearing to get a better view. Once he escapes the treeline he takes another look at the strange phenomenon and notices that it appears as if the sky has been torn like fabric as a Violet Gash has filled the sky and before long something appears to be emerging from the Violet Gash however he awakens from his dream only to notice he is in that very clearing now.
