"Pave my path?" Rena muttered her words back with a dumbfounded look. Many things didn't make sense with this woman and there was barely an explanation for any of it. All she got from her were 'Not yet' or 'You will know when the right time comes.' That was obviously frustrating but she had no choice but accept that.
Besides, she still didn't trust that woman at all. She might be trying to use her or even worse.
"Yes, I know that the path to the peak where you belong is tough and hellish. It is only made for the strong-willed individuals that dare to take it with resolute ambition. But, that doesn't mean that I will let you be like the other normal humans, you are my dear daughter that I love after all."
The woman's sweet smile bloomed like a flower in the middle of a sacred garden. It was so dazzling that Rena could barely avert her eyes from the goddess. She couldn't handle this woman's aura at all.
"This daughter thing is really confusing me. I have my own mother so hearing you claim that I am your daughter is very weird." She mustered the courage to say this to the woman after some pondering."
As if struck by lightning, the woman froze in her place for a good 3 seconds before she did something unexpected.
"Fufufufufufu.." She started giggling gently as she touched her mouth with her fingers. Her sweet sound was like a lullaby to the ear or a heavenly choir.
After laughing for a few moments, she touched Rena's cheek and said gently.
"I know that it is quite confusing. But, I promise that everything will become clear soon. Now, let's go back to our important matter. This world that you are in was the only link I was able to find so that I could talk with you. So, the power I will give you will be in this world for the time being."
"What power?" Rena asked with a confused look.
"The power of manipulating time." The goddess replied.
Then, she extended her arm and clicked her fingers together casually. Immediately, the whole world around them turned grey and lost all of its colors. Rena looked around with a shocked look. The grass that was moving around her stopped moving and the whole place became eerily quite.
"Controlling time is a power that only our clan had. The eternity clan. We are the true monarchs of time and the rulers of eternity and you Rena is the heir for this power. You are the one destined to carry our torch to the future and become the Queen Of Eternity."
Then, the woman clicked her fingers again, and the world instantly returned to normal as if nothing happened.
"I have carried this responsibility for a very long time and my time is nearing its end. All I can do is try to help you before I vanish." She said.
"Our clan is on the verge of extinction, Rena. We both are the only two left and we are not safe. I can only protect you from them until you are strong enough to fight on your own."
"Them? who are them?" She asked.
However, the woman shook her head and didn't answer. Her eyes looked slightly sad and regretful because of it but she was unable to tell her. Rena didn't try to corner her anymore. The girl didn't know her circumstances, after all.
"I am sorry, my daughter. All I can do now is give you what you need and then leave."
"...Understood. I trust you." She smiled slightly.
Then, she looked at her own legs and hands that were still stuck under the rock and scratched her head slightly.
"Oh yes!" The goddess nodded her head and lifted the massive rock then threw it away as if it was a feather. After that, she extended her hand and tapped Rena's forehead lightly.
Miraculously, her body healed completely in a moment and returned to its form before. Even dirt and other stains completely vanished and her clothes became squeaky clean.
"Mmm, thank you."
"Don't worry about it. Now, I also gave you the inheritance with that tap. Check your system."
Rena nodded her head and opened her game menu. Immediately, a swarm of notifications attacked her all at the same time. She tried to organize them before she read them carefully.

Rena nodded her head in understanding. She had actually obtained something that would only be accessible after the end of the tutorial. Forget about a boost, this was a complete cheat!
'I can't wait to tell, Reo.' she thought to herself.
When she opened the quest section, she saw the newly added missions. There was also an explanation.

"So your name was Cerelia, huh? Nice to meet you." She said.
"Me too."
Rena then went silent for a few seconds as she fell into deep thought. It wasn't that she hesitated about whether she should accept or not but a whole different matter.
"Can I ask you one question before I accept?"
Cerelia tilted her head slightly with a confused look as she waited for Rena to continue speaking.
"If I reach the peak and master this power you gave me… Hypothetically speaking, can I make myself live for eternity?" She asked with an incomprehensible look.
Cerelia smiled at her question and said mischievously.
"You love that boy too much. Fufufufu."
"H-Hey… Yes, I do. Is that a problem?"" Rena scratched her head and clicked her tongue with an embarrassed look.
"No. Anyway, answering your question… Yes, it is possible to live forever. The queen of time can do whatever she wants. Including making your loved ones never age."
Hearing the positive response, a mesmerizing smile appeared on Rena's face. The thought of living together with Reo and her loved ones made her shudder from excitement.
Never aging, never losing strength or growing weak, reaching the end of the world together and sharing countless memories with eachother. What more could she ask for? If there was a paradise for real then that should be it each other.
Rena looked at her hand for a moment before she tightened it into a fist.
"... I accept." She said with a determined look.
Meanwhile, Reo who was oblivious to all of this was having a fight of his own. He had been fighting Uruvs for the past 2 hours non-stop. Most of these hours were passed searching for these monsters since their populations were scarce.
"Raaaa!!" A level 1 Uruv screeched as it slashed down with its claws. Reo looked at the 5 sharp knives about to slice his face like swiss cheese.
"Nope."
He grabbed the monster's leg and swung it around before he threw it away with all of his strength.
[Ding!]
