3rd Person POV
The demon lord is visibly disappointed to hear that Perseus rejected the offer that even his nobles were reluctant to offer as they mostly think he isn't going to be that strong by the time the war is declared, but he's currently the youngest 6-star mage, equivalent to a 7-star mage of people everywhere else since people from that village have slower progress due to their much stronger foundation.
And even if you call him the youngest 7 star, some people might just agree with it, a prodigy among prodigies, he knows for a fact that Perseus is going to be the strongest person individually after him in the future, stronger than the heroes. The heroes have the resonance skill that makes them almost impossible to beat in a group, so you'll have to fight them in isolated situations, and that's where Perseus thrives along with him.
A friend or a foe, that was the question that popped in Lachlan's head once he saw the teen, academically, he is on the same level as an average adult as he didn't pursue any higher studies, but his cunning nature helped him get further than everyone else.
And even after the rejection of his offer, he still doesn't know what to decide between the 2 options, friend or foe, his village has the strongest force in the world, so strong that they have repelled many attempts to conquer them in the past, ones that were mainly carried by Zoris and sometimes they had backup from other continents and yet still lose.
The village has always stayed away from fights if they can help it, and people prefer it if they do, and by having Perseus on their side, there's a chance that the village can be persuaded to join them too as Perseus is already seen by many as the next great chief despite him hating such kind of positions.
But bringing Perseus in also helps another purpose...
After a lot of thinking, he decides to not answer the question of whether Perseus is friend or foe, he has time and for now he'll focus on the project of the fake rose.
"Before you leave..." the demon lord then took out a book and handed it to Perseus "This was the book he wrote for whoever formed a connection with his partner, this was after he added those other features on the pyramid."
Perseus POV
I then take the book, this one has no title or anything, but I can't open it as it has some sort of enchantment on it, but Buddy bit himself and use his paw to rub the blood which he then place his bloodied paw on top of the cover leaving a bloodied print which now somehow allow me to open the book.
I opened it to see only another diary that expands on the first one and also has extra theories on the 11th star. They didn't even try to sneak a peek at this, Lilith probably knows what's in here already, but the other 2 are definitely curious.
"Thank you, this is just a continuation of the diary that I already possess, his personal thoughts and theories on how the world works."
That statement sated their curiosities a bit and Lilith pretended to do the same, must be hard having 2 personas, not that I can't relate.

Rolan POV
Perseus Silver, even though he is a VIP, he should have been in one of the common seats where it's easier to track his movements and see what's he's doing, but he somehow managed to get his way into a box seat.
I'm seriously starting to think that he isn't just a super with one power, but one of those rare people that possess 2 powers. To think that supers exist in this world too, that's a miscalculation and Lucifer's powers?
One of my distant relatives was said to have possessed that power, so how did it get here?
The power of gods and other monsters, that's the scariest thing I've found out about the other side, project: Typhon, Messiah...they're all strong enough to fight 9 star mages at least, and project: Lucifer...the last guy who had it actually would have fought project: Typhon and took an arm off him.
If that guy actually had some proper training and was allowed to do proper exercises...an extinction-class ability that's known to even a selected few amongst the top brass. That guy got fucking everything, I'll make sure to steal everything he has.
The fucker thinks he can beat me up and get away with it, I already helped got his stupid grandfather fired, and he will be next, but I need time, I need Cain to get here first. But...He's also the only guy who I can put up against Cain.
Cain thinks he can boss my family around, but I'll make sure that my family will come out on top and I, as the next head, will rule both worlds, the first great emperor, hahaha.
Cain, Perseus, Demons....I'll eliminate all foul beings from this world, I'll be the greatest savior, the first king to unite all, my name will be etched as a god, a man born human who later became the first true king, and the first man to transcend and become a go with fame that is never forgotten.
