Chapter 374: Keith's Confinement (5)

Perseus POV

"We'll have to spare God," Dawn said

We currently are in a meeting with every one of Dawn's connections who's gonna help us out with the plan to eliminate God, I even screened them beforehand and asked several questions to make sure that they aren't spies.

There's this woman, Anna, I've talked with her before, but, she's being...a bit too clingy for my liking. Even Dawn glared at her, and she didn't even seem fazed, though she did get quite turned off once she heard that I was still a few months away from being 18.

Anywho, everyone chimed in on the plan and in the end, we'll have to spare God.

First, stealing the thing will be difficult. God will store it in his spatial storage, so the only way to get it off of his hands is to continuously beat him until he becomes mentally distracted and I'll use my Loki ability and convince him to take it out.

It boils down to God's replacement thing and the 8000 angels. The 8000 angels are disobeying his orders to fight for his safety, so if we kill God, those guys will also be our enemy. We can't stand a chance if that happens.

And the replacement will also not accept the replacement position if we kill him that way, we can only kill God when God invades our world, and it's a situation where we'll have no choice. By doing that...the invasion is going to be deadly.

Assuming that the cult and the demons join hands and since God's the Cult's boss...the casualties are immense. Not just that, our world is going to be destroyed greatly, even if Dawn goes back and repairs everything, it's not going to be the same as before.

Additionally, before we even try to steal this thing, we will have to eliminate every one of Cain's scientists who has worked in the main headquarters, Cain will be able to copy the abilities if we go back as Dawn will retract her bind and restrictions on the power.

"Yeah, no doubt about it, this stinks." Ruka commented on the situation.

"I can get the list of the scientists' names." Anna chimed in, "But I'll need some help from people here and even then, it'll take 2 days if someone here can take away their attention from their servers."

"I can handle that, I've been causing havoc the past week, with only one powerful cute fox in tow, and soon enough, Cain and the world will try to trap me in and invite me in for some peace talk, they'll try to kill me then. I'll use that opportunity to fight for 48 hours straight."

"Um...are you sure? I know that you're good and all, but don't otherworldly energy like this world's mana harm you?"

"I'm a reincarnate, and I'm blessed by goddesses, otherworldly energy will have the same damage as any other mana."

"Yeah, but are you sure that you can distract them long enough? You seem to not want anyone to go along apart from that fox."

"Everyone else will need to go in contact with the angels and intercept the gods, I'll deal with these guys since I started it. I can easily last for 48 hours."

"Oh..."

"Stop blushing, I'm not sleeping with you."

3rd Person POV

The current world was gripped by turmoil and fear, Cain then received a summon that promised him a glimmer of hope. He had been invited to a meeting of world leaders, a gathering meant to initiate peace talks with Perseus, who had become a symbol of chaos and destruction. And to some, the image of the avenger.

It was an opportunity to negotiate for Keith Hughes' release, but also a potential trap. The world leaders spoke of the chaos and destruction wrought by Perseus and the urgent need to find a peaceful resolution. They believed that negotiating for the release of Keith Hughes, the scientist at the center of the turmoil, was the first step of the key to restoring order.

"We must tread carefully," One suggested, their eyes shifting to Cain, "The avenger is not to be underestimated. This peace talk could also be used as a trap."

"He may believe that we are vulnerable, that we are desperate for a resolution. We can use that to our advantage." Another added

The room fell into a contemplative silence as the world leaders considered the implications of this plan. It was a risky gambit, one that required precision and careful execution. Perseus has shown strength that was on the level of those in the extinction class, and in Cain's mind, it's much stronger as Mana Urgess, one of his strongest extinction class, died by his hands.

We'll need to prepare," another leader chimed in, their expression reflecting a mix of caution and anticipation, "Ensure that our security measures are flawless. Loki won't expect us to turn the tables on them."

As the meeting continued, plans were set in motion to transform the peace talk into a trap. Cain couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, knowing that he was taking control of the situation and using it to their advantage like always.

Loki may have been a formidable adversary, but he was about to face a cunning and strategic foe in the world leaders who were determined to bring an end to the chaos and manipulation once and for all. Despite all his resources, it's hard to work in the shadows, with the world leader's approval, he can work in the light without worry.

The preparations for the trap were meticulous and secretive. Security measures were bolstered, and intelligence agencies worked tirelessly to gather information on the Perseus' potential strategies.

The world leaders understood the gravity of the situation. This was a gamble that could either bring about the downfall of Loki or push the world deeper into turmoil as Loki will be betrayed one last time.

They announced the prospect of the peace talk and gave out the time and location on live television, hoping that Perseus would hear it. On the day of the peace talk, the world leaders arrived with an air of confidence to make sure no one knew that they were concealing the trap that lay in wait.

They then saw Loki's arrival, whose facial expression was that of a person who believed they held the upper hand. Cain smiled, he used his people and check, sure enough, loki didn't send an illusion projection here, this was the real person.
