Full Family Reunion

           Shiny was sitting next to X, focused on convincing him to try to sit up again. He heard leaves and sticks being run over but ignored it, thinking it was just some critters. His thoughts changed when he felt something slam against him, forcing him down. Shiny began shove them away but realized he was out numbers. "No no no no!!" He quickly yelled while trying to shove them away. It wasn't until he was pinned down by someone and his face being grabbed by someone else.

          "Shiny Shiny its Pippin!" She held his face and his panic quickly turned to excitement and relief. "Oh oh oh thank fucking god" he sighed in relief as he wrapped his arms around her. Then Shiny noticed someone else was on him. He looked down and saw Lasso gripping onto him tightly. Shiny let go of Pippin with one arm and wrapped it around Lasso as well. He tapped Lasso's hat back and kissed his forehead a few times. "Oh your okay thank god.." he smiled breathlessly from all the excitement. He held them both tightly, forcing Pippin to sit on the ground with them. He heard more leaves and sticks crunching as the others caught up.

           Bones quickly went over to X who was laying with his back towards them. Bones silently sat on his knees and leaned over with his face just inches away from X's. X had his eyes close and seemed to be sleeping so Bones waited patiently.

          X felt someone bump his shoulder on accident and he softly groaned as pain surged through his entire back from the slight movement. "Shiny I said I'm tired...." He muttered but got no response. He could hear Shiny talking to someone else so he slowly opened his eyes. X jumped when he saw that it wasn't Shiny sitting a little bit away from him, it was Bones just inches from his face, leaning over him. "Bones!-...." He quickly tried to sit up but bumped into Bones's torso and more pain was rocketing through his back so he quickly laid back down. Bones pushed more of his weight onto the palms of his hands, kicking his legs over X so he's now crouched in front of him. Bones laid on his stomach so he was still face to face with X, his mess of coal black hair covering most of his face. X slowly reached to move his hair but Bones moved his head out of the way.

         Bones helped X slowly sit up as Mama rushed over. She gently hugged X while Pippin and Lasso had Shiny pinned down to the ground. Mama instinctively was checking him for injuries. "X are you alright baby?..." She gently asked, noticing that he was in a lot of pain. He leaned his head against her shoulder as she tried to give him some water from her canteen. "Got hit with something....it just messed up my back...." He sighed and finally drank a little bit of water. It was only a few sips since that was all he could keep down. As Mama was checking the bruise on X's back Bones gently leaned his forehead against X's. The big man just chuckled tiredly. "I missed you too kiddo..." he smiled faintly and patted Bones's shoulder gently. "I'm glad to see he still does that with you" Mama giggled quietly while gently hugging him. Bones then plopped down in front of X to give him a little space but stayed close.

         Penny, Thompson, and Davy finally caught up to the others, seeing that the others have been found. "These were the only other two right?" Davy whispered and Penny nodded. "At least when I found them those were the other two-" Penny whispered back. They all quietly watched Mama Williams assess X and Shiny for injuries. Lasso was still clinging to Shiny tightly while Pippin checked up on X as well.

"How ya doing brother" Pippin crouched next to Bones, gently hugging X. "Eh....could be better...." He sighed and just leaned his head against her shoulder. "You look pretty fucked up, what happened?" She asked and he slowly ran her through the chaos. He started with the roaches and noticed Pippin trying her hardest not to burst out laughing when he told her about Shiny panicking about it. He also mentioned the cult thing which got Pippin confused. "Y'all got accepted in a cult?-" she asked. X shrugged and moved on. Then there was the mutated bats. "They were bigger then you and Shiny-" her eyes widened as he nodded. "Fucking big bastards...." He sighed. "One of them hit me and fucked up my back..." he grumbled bitterly. As he talked Pippin kept trying to offer her canteen to him but he kept denying. "Drink some water" she told him but he pushed her hand away. Even after being denied so many times she still kept trying until he took a few more sips.

Mama did pull Shiny aside for a moment once she managed to convince Lasso to let him go. "So- be careful with Lasso-" she started. Shiny just looked at her confused. "Well- yeah I know- he has a short fuse I know this-" Shiny told her but Mama Williams shook her head. "No no no not what I'm talking about. He's been acting.....different-" She then told him all that has happened these past few days with him. Shiny just looked at her shocked. "Mama- how much sleep have you gotten lately?-" he asked and she looked at him with a cocked eyebrow. "What does that have to do with anything?" Mama asked and Shiny looked dumbfounded. "CAUSE IF HE WAS TRYING TO BITE YOU WHY WERE YOU SO CLOSE" he whisper yelled, learning his lesson from being too loud with the bats. She simply shrugged it off with very little care. "Just be careful" Mama told him while ruffling his short hair then walking back to the others.

Shiny quickly followed while sighing, not surprised at her response whatsoever. He sat back down with Lasso who quickly clung to him once more. They all decided that they were going to rest here for the day.
