Early Ash

Lucian climbed against the waterfall. Each time he digging his sharp nails into the deviously slippery stones while bearing the pressure of the waterfall.

He takes one arm at a time and makes his steady climb.

He reaches the top from the most edge of the fall.

Reaching the top he looks menacingly at the cave.

He walks to it and enters.

He doesn't stay near the entrance but this time he walks straight in.

His eyes glow with their silver blue.

Some bats take notice of him and rush to him, he just raises his hand to them, and arcs of lightning shoot out and then disappear a few seconds later, taking all the many bats with it.

He is not really aiming at each of them but the arcs mostly do it themselves, he doesn't know how to guide them with an intent.

With the disturbance more of the bats realize that they have an intruder and wake up.

Usually, in the morning the bats sleep and just let some of their kind to guard the entrance.

Most of the time it is the weakest who take the guard duty and the strong one's slumber.

Now bats bigger than most he had seen came at him, but they were still smaller than the ones that had been a part of the group that had lit and pushed him into the water.

Raising both his arms he starts shooting lightning again.

This starts killing the bats in a vast number.

Seeing how most of their kind is being slaughtered with no result.

The bigger bats screem towards the back of the cave.

"Scree."

And he saw the red glowing orbs again but this time he heard the being having them too.

"Scrrr."

Following this, the bats started to combust and came rushing at him.

"It's not going to work this time."

Lucian roars at the incoming bats in rage as he remembers the last time.

"Roar."

This time though his roar seemed different. He felt some of his energy leaving.

And it didn't change anything with the lightning but when he looked at the bat again then he knew the result of the roar.

The minions of the being with the red eyes were now just running around in frenzy after being affected by his roars.

It was not all of them though as the bigger ones just got stunned.

He knew not to waste his chance so he charged his claws and started his frenzy mual at all the bats in the air.

He had noticed how the bats had reduced in number since the first time he had entered the cave.

At that time the bats seemed to just pour out from an endless abyss.

Now even the strength of the bats seemed a lot less.

Except for the fires of the big ones, he didn't feel more than a little heat from the small ones burning to their death.

And then a shadow half his size slammed into him and then backed again.

Then it came to his side and to slam again.

He was not able to follow the thing at all.

And this is him when he had improved speed, because of him being empowered by the lightning.

It continued to bash him from different sides.

And long cuts started appearing each time it came at him.

"Scree."

The smaller bats started cheering and the bigger ones started dissipating the fire of themselves.

"So they can come out of the self destruct state."

Then he looked at a lot of the smaller ones that just kept burning until what remained behind were only ashs'.

He predicted the next place the bat might come at him from and claw at that place.

The bat did attack him from that angle but it escaped when his claw neared her.

Because it had to do a sudden halt before it changed direction just as swiftly, Lucian was finally able to see what the bat looked like.

He was stunned looking at it for just a sec before his hunter exp came kicking in.

The bat tried to attack from other places just for Lucian to claw at her just where he was aiming to attack from.

He was a master of lightning powers, if he was to be bested in speed and reaction time just like that, then he will not have the face to be among the group of Killua, the Raikage A, forget of his Zeus like potential.

The bat might have realized that she was not going to get another chance at attacking him at his blind spots so she makes some distance from Lucian and starts circling him at fast speeds.

She had not forgotten how he had short lightning from his hands.

"Scrrr."

Her scream didn't seem to be targeted at him like all the other beasts that always like to trash talk when fighting. Well, at least that's how he feels they do whenever they start roaring at him mid fight.

She seemed to be saying something to the rest of the bats.

And he was right as the smaller bat started to move away, and the bigger one hesitated for a moment just to start circling him like the alpha bat.

He didn't know what they were trying to do by circling around him.

"What are you going to make a tornado or what,'' Lucian thinks condescendingly.

He spreads his hand to the sides and shoots lightning.

""SCRR.""

It seemed like he had hit some but none of the bats had even stopped circling him

He increased the intensity at which he shot the lightning.

But nothing much happened with his continuous lightning bombardment.

And it had only been some seconds from when the bats had started circling him.

Then he sees what they had made.

It was a fire tornado that encompassed him in the center.

"Fuck my mouth is so black, people will start accusing me of blackface."
