CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE

“What if they don’t choose to interfere?” One of them asks, urgently.

Once of them scoffs, “We don’t even know if she’s telling the truth. If he’s in the Arush, there’s no knowing if he’ll ever wake up. Nobody has entered the Arush in eons. One only enters the Arush if the injury is life threatening. This gives us two advantages. One, we know he’s not immortal, and second, whenever he wakes up, he will be weak. Too weak to go against us.”

I still don’t know how they managed to get me here. Where are Caleb and Fera? What happened to them? What happened to the creatures who had supposedly been guarding me?

There are a lot of pieces of the puzzle that are missing.
