The twins settled down at their various workstations. Jason worked as a support staff for the supermarket. The reason being he was always cold and unapproachable, so he stays at the storehouse at the back while Mitchell works at a cashier upstairs. It is very prestigious because the mall is big and the big shots shop upstairs. Of course, that is because of his very bright and bubbly personality.
Although they look very much alike, their personalities are enough to tell them apart. They both have blue green eyes, with a head full of dark brown hair. Mitchell dyed his to silver when they came to LA. A very sharp chin and high cheekbones betrayed their ancestry as Caucasian. They were both very tall young men, intelligent and in the case of Jason, though very quiet, cunning.
Mitchell as usual wore his apron over his dark brown jeans and white turtle neck sweater. He loved manning the front desk as he gets to know who is who and hears quite a bit of gossip which he tells his brother after working hours. They normally come to work here in the evenings since they have school to attend. He thought to his twin and decided to message him through the link. He is always the one initiating conversations since his cold and aloof brother finds it boring. He chuckled to himself but this seemed to gain the attention of the person he was tallying their products
"Well, young man. You look more handsome when you smile", an old woman of perhaps 60 years old said to him.
He simply nodded at her and continued to package her goods.
"That will be 600 dollars Ma'am", he said to her
"Thank you", she said while handing him the money
He entered the purchase into the system, said goodbye to her very politely and attended to the next customer, this time though he made sure not to allow his thoughts show on his face. It tends to cause trouble a little if an unreasonable person thinks he is laughing at them or something.
'J, how has your shift been so far?', he spoke to his twin through the link.
After receiving no reply from the other end he decided to make him talk. He started singing some 80's song through the link.
This got his brother's attention real fast as he enjoys these songs, before he knew it he was singing along. Mitchell asked again and this time he got a reply
'Boring'
Mitchell rolled his eyes, in his head though, he really doesn't expect much. Not that he couldn't answer more but he is always running out of words to say, he just fells Jason is actually a very shy person and his stoic gave is just a facade.
Their parents had told them they were a once in a Red Moon occurrence. They were known as the Yin-Yang twins.
Not only their personalities but their powers too. They had lightning as their inherent powers.
His was purple with a hint of red, as the Yang twin, it had the property of life and is unruly and destructive.
Jason, on the other hand, had dark purple lightning, almost black, with a death aura surrounding it. it focused more on defence but was much more destructive compared to his and comes with a freezing cold aura.
This must have affected their personalities because thier natural auras had a hint of their powers in it.
While he is known as the bright kid, with a huge smile on his face, very friendly, his brother is the exact opposite.
...
Jason waited for his brother to reply to him. He didn't always know what to say when his brother initiates a conversation with him or even other people. Though, Mitchell always knows what he wants to say since their minds are very much connected as twins, people think he is rude. He doesn't care since they don't really matter to him. Especially now that his parents aren't around anymore, he finds it tiring trying to communicate with people.
He kept humming to the song his brother started through the link. He searched around in his jacket pocket for a while and found his cube. He always plays with this Rubix whenever his mind strays, keeps him grounded.

Andrew walked into a high end bar. He was ushered straight into the VIP room. He meets with his University friends here. He attends B University where he studies Managerial accounting and finance. He is currently in his second year and has made quite the clique. He isn't very famous though as he tends to keep to himself, only a few people know him. Those are the persons he came to meet today. They meet every Thursday evening at this bar, he found it pointless since they see each other at school but he felt it must be human tradition to try and get their friends drunk every other day.
He entered the room and surely all three of them had arrived. Sitting closest to the door was a skinny lad, with long hair packed up in a man-bun, he is part Asian, though he doesn't know which side of his family. His name is Jin. Sitting dead centre is Rima, a very ravishing young lady with short black hair, dressed in a very tight mini skirt and thigh high boots. He always wondered if she was ever cold. And sticking to Rima was a huge guy, known as the best quarterback champion back in high school, Hugh. He has been in love with Rima since kindergarten. Though she doesn't really care, according to her, he wasn't her type.
He always rolled his eyes internally when he sees them both. He knows they are sleeping together but he doesn't understand why she had to pretend to not like Hugh. He is a really nice guy.
"Well, seems like we are all here once again",he addresses them.
"Yeah, our very own Ice Prince. Welcome to this humble abode, your Iciness. To what do we owe this visit?", Jin jested
He wanted to say that they invited him but pit it off as it seemed Rima was about to speak.
"Andy, how was the week for you?",she inquired
"Ahh, Rima, you didn't ask me that? Don't I matter to you? I am heartbroken currently you know?",Jin said woefully
He is very popular with the girls in school but he always gets too attached to anyone who shows him a tiny bit of affection. It always end up in disasters. Currently, he is recovering from a three days old relationship with a girl named Jessica or was it Cynthia? He couldn't really remember, there are lots of them everyday.
"I thought you just went on a date with Ginger?", that was Hugh always straight forward.
"That is not the point. No one called me while I was frowning in my sorrows. You guys are my best friends!"
That's Jin again. Always extra.
"What are we doing today?", he asked
"Drinking and helping me get over Cynthia", Jin said
Oh, so it was Cynthia.
Just then, Andrew heard a commotion outside the bar, he looked around and noticed no one heard the sounds. He excused himself, to which Jin protested but he left nonetheless.
Immediately he stepped out of the bar, the noise became so loud. He looked to the sky and frowned. It was a cacophony of witches.
He looked back at the bar and decided to cast a barrier to prevent any one from leaving and to protect them too. He wondered were Ellen and her crew where, this was supposed to be their jobs. He had taken lessons too but his powers didn't extend here. He decided to wait.
The witches surrounded the area like they were searching for something or someone he couldn't understand. He looked at the screen of his phone, it was 1:46AM in the morning, he was beginning to think coming to the bar was a very bad idea. He dialled Ellen, she wasn't picking up, he figured that maybe they were on their way here.
Suddenly, he heard a commotion behind him, turning he saw a young man coming out of the bar, shocked he turned to look at the barrier he set, finding it still intact. He couldn't fathom why his barrier couldn't keep this particular Muggle in place.

Trey decided to go for the party. According to Mitchell, his life was boring as it is, so he needs to go out and make connections, though he couldn't even begin to understand what connections he needed at 16 years. He wore a black leather jacket over a brown shirt, jeans and ankle boots. He looked at his messy head of hair and decided that after tonight he was going to go get a trim.
He called his friends, Eon and Kai, they were both attending the party with him, to verify the location. It was a very high end bar, which, if he were to give his meagre two cents, contrasted terribly with the vintage card. He figured they were just trying to act cool.
He got to the bar before Eon, since Kai had arrived first. He called Kai who met him at the entrance together with the girl who gave him the invite. He walked into the place and the noise was deafening. His precious wolf ears felt like they were about to implode.
After passing through very shady looking corridors, they entered an elevator and headed towards the basement. Arriving at the place, he realised that the decor is heavy metal. Again, he felt like the people hosting the party were probably very confused. He could almost feel his tears about to fall. He was never going to a bar or a party again.
...
After about two hours, he couldn't stand it and asked to go to the washroom. He wasn't even doing anything in the party. Mitchell lied. Kai and Eon, who had arrived later, were having probably the greatest time of their lives. Eon had left with two blondes, said they were headed for one of the rooms provided by the bar. He figured he was about to get shagged. Kai, however was gay,and he didn't even bother to be cool about it and hide or something, that's why even at school no one was able to bully him or anything, especially the fact that before he arrived, Kai was basketball champion, which means he was finding it a bit hard getting himself a partner, but from the looks of it he was still enjoying himself. The lie Mitchell told him seems truthful in regards to Kai.
He walked down the corridor about to enter the washroom when he felt a shift in the air. Immediately, he knew it was magic. He backtracked and took the elevator headed upstairs. He stepped outside the bar and turned his head. Only to see a very cute young man standing there looking at him with wide eyes. And by cute, he meant, curly red hair, slanted eyes, and very beautiful lips. He couldn't help but gulp. He mentally slapped himself, he must have been staring for too long because a frown marred the cutie's features.
