Chapter 04

Alaska, the man chose to entrust Angel's bag to his student guidance who was carrying out ospek, he left the campus after feeling that all his business had been completed. Don't forget to tell Jack to take care of some things that he hasn't had time to do as a team, the man feels tired all day. He doesn't know, he rarely feels like that, he wants to drop his body on his bed.

He let out a small sigh several times, half an hour away by car, the man finally arrived in front of his house—Error! The house owned by his parents was quite luxurious.

Without greeting or anything, the man stepped his heavy legs into the house, ignoring the few maids who had been staring at him from room to room to reach his room. For a moment, he glanced at his older brother who was only two years different from him, the man seemed busy eating food on the table with one hand he used to scroll the cellphone screen.

His suit and formal attire were still attached to his body, indicating that the man had just arrived from their father's not-so-big company. Even so, they were satisfied with the wealth they currently had. Does Alaska feel the same way? Maybe yes, maybe no.

"Hey, you came back early today." Alaska just cleared his throat in response to his brother's words, the man stepped back down the stairs to reach his room which was located on the top floor.

Alaska actually dropped his body on his bed, he let out a rough breath then looked up at the ceiling. His eyes scanned the room which was quite spacious and dominated by his favorite musicians, not forgetting to display his hand-drawn paintings on the wall as well.

Then, he got up and directed his legs to approach the balcony area. He inhaled oxygen greedily using his dry nose, his eyes were diverted when he heard a knocking sound from outside the room.

"Alaska, can i come in?"

"Just come in, mom." he said.

There was a creak of the sound of the door being just opened, the middle-aged woman wearing a knee-length dress entered the child's room with a guitar in her hand. The rights were successful in getting Alaska's attention.

"This is the guitar your brother borrowed." Alaska pulled him quickly, he chuckled softly which made his mother wince.

"Aish, since when did he get my permission to borrow it?"

"He asked mama before you came home last night, why?"

"Mom, don't always be like that, I don't like it when he uses my things. Just buy it with the money he has, dad always makes him proud." He put the guitar in its place, not seeing the mother who shook her head slowly.

"Don't be so stingy, after all he is your brother, share with him whatever you have." The woman smiled then stroked the top of Alaska's head which was taller than her, letting her son's curvy face show even more.

"No, mine is mine, not his." The man was indeed quite possessive of what was his.

"Never mind, let's not talk about it anymore. Mama doesn't want to see you end up being compared back with Harry over something this small." The mother tried to mediate the situation.

"Just let it go, I'm already immune. After all, what's wrong with the world of art and literature that I enjoy? My Dad will never understand because all he sees is the world of business and economics." True, his father often compared him to his brother because of their different achievements. Alaska has won several competitions held by campus, such as creating stories, composing song lyrics that are currently used by famous singers, doesn't his father feel proud of his achievements?

Meanwhile, Harry, the only sibling he had, only focused on sitting while staring at the rectangular object in front of him without stopping. Actually, what is the achievement? Well, everyone has their own preferences and strengths in a field. But why does his father always judge as if he is nothing compared to his brother? That's one of the things that makes Alaska sometimes wish not to cross paths with his father in the big house.

"But I don't like hearing that, honey." The woman spoke as gently as possible, even though she understood that the child would not respond.

"Tsk, then just tell your husband, mom. Doesn't he always listen to what you say?" Alaska moved away, leaving his mother who looked at him with a faint smile while shaking her head slowly. Her son turned out to be an adult because he maintained what was his focal point. Honestly, she was proud, but she seemed difficult to say in the current state. Alaska sometimes doesn't believe it.

"Come down to eat with your brother. You're staying, aren't you?" Alaska again cleared his throat without looking at all, until he heard the door to his room closed, then he exhaled roughly. He wanted to get a day's peace without feeling his mood suddenly deteriorate just because of such a small thing. His relationship with his brother and father did not become harmonious just because of this problem.

"Mom, I'm home!"

No one answered, I just put my mother's motorbike back which I had taken to run. I frowned because I couldn't find my car which should have been parked in the garage. Does that mean she's not home yet? Though normally she would be home at four o'clock in the afternoon, it was almost six o'clock now and mother still had no sign of coming home.

I also came home late actually, Chelsy took me out to just get some wind, I kept my mother's motorbike at her house first then went out using Chelsy's car which took us everywhere.

Ting!

My hands reached into my pants pocket, a message just came in and it was from my mother.

From : my mother

["When you come back, please deliver the cloth that people ordered, mom put it in mom's room."]

My fingers move to reply.

To : my mother

["Why don't you have your employee or employee?"]

I haven't been in silence for a minute, my mother has already replied.

From : my mother

["They can't, mom's employees and employees are already busy with incoming goods, they have to check it properly. So, deliver the order, okay?"]

I sighed after reading it, actually I'm tired, but I'll do it anyway. It's only one.

To : my mother

["Well, I'm getting ready first."]
