THE HOMECOMING

SAMANTHA'S POV

"Hey, Samantha!"

"Ayy, you little cat! Leslie, what?!" I said shockingly then I hit her lightly on the arm. She's really weird, she just popped up everywhere.

"You're staring into nothing, what happened to you?" She asked while raising an eyebrow. This is her being curious again, aish.

I sighed a little before speaking, "because my dream was weird," I still thought about my answer as I looked into the distance.

"Why? What is your dream?" She asked next, then waved her hand in front of me, causing me to return to my trance.

"I met a girl named Camilla. I mean, no. What is it? How can I explain it?" I said with confusion because I didn't know how to say that. So I did inhale and exhaled before I continue, "yesterday I met a poor toddler opposite the church, her name is Camilla. Actually, I will take her home later." I said while still looking at the wide field.

"Then? What was your dream?" She has a quick follow-up question.

"That's it, I dreamed of a scene about two lovers where the parents don't like them. It's a mess, as far as I remember, Camilla is being killed, and then Eli is blocking it." I said the story about my dream while I was frowned upon. It's up to her if she doesn't understand, I don't understand too.

"What looks?" She asked curiously as she sat down in front of me.

"I don't know; I didn't see them. There were a lot of them and their faces were all blurred, so I didn't see them." I answered with no expression. She just nodded.

I didn't say anything about the pain in my heart last night after I dreamed of that scene. I'm sure she'll worry again and overreact, and she'll be even more curious so I didn't say anything more.

"Maybe that's just the effect of your watching K-Drama or movies?" She asked suggestively while slightly sighing.

I just shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know, maybe." I'm doubting but I just agree with her and put my mind at ease for the next class.

"Just go bessy! fighting, you can do it!" She suddenly cheered for me. I just held my breath.

"You're always like that, one time I'll strangle you," I said jokingly and laughed a little, she just smiled and hold her laughter.

"Yes, it's true, I always say "fighting" I feel like I'm one of the soldiers in the war in my past life HAHAHA," she laughed as we both burst into laughter HAHAHAHA she's crazy.

"Hey silly, HAHAHA I have a story to tell you," I said while still laughing.

"What? HAHAHA you're also a war soldier in your past life? HAHAHA," she asked, still laughing. Crazy HAHAHAHA silly.

"No, stupid," I answered while holding back my laughter with a smile.

"Then what?" She asked again and took a deep breath.

"Last night, I lost my phone in my room, so I tried to find my phone on the bed, under the bed, and even in a narrow place. But I didn't find it until I realize I'm using it as a flashlight. Sheessshhh," I told the story about my own stupidity. She immediately burst out laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHA silly Samantha, what are you doing? Are you really out of your mind?" She laughed. I just laughed too and chided her.

It's good to laugh if there is no stupidity in life, but in her case, she shouldn't laugh.

The time passed and all our classes for the day ended. It's tiring. But I remembered that I will go to church to pick up Camilla. Leslie said she will come with me, so here she is.

"Where did you see her? Why doesn't there seem to be a child here?" She asked one after the other while still frowning. Well, she's right, Camilla doesn't seem to be here.

"It's fashionable to ask questions in shopkeepers here. Step aside and I'll ask," I said defiantly.

I approached a shopkeeper on the side of the church, "Ahh, hello, good afternoon. Have you seen Camilla? The little girl who is always here? Her hair is black and she's 8 years old." I gently asked and described Camilla using hand gestures.

"Ahh, is she the child you are talking about?" The shopkeeper answered the question and pointed in a direction. I turned back and followed the direction of her finger.

I immediately smiled when I saw Camilla, Father Salmon holding her while walking towards us. I waved at her and it was fun that she recognized me right away.

"Sissyyyy!" She called me with a smile. She let go of Father's grip and ran towards me.

"Take it easy, you might stumble." I reminded the little toddler with a smile.

"Good afternoon, Father Salmon." I greeted the priest with a smile, he immediately smiled back at me.

Father Salmon's good looks can be seen even at this age. His height is just right, he has beautiful pink lips, beautiful brown eyes, and a nice body. If only I met him in his youth, I would have had a crush on him.

"Oh, so you're the lady she's referring to." Father Salmon said smiling as he looked at Camilla. I smiled and nodded.

"Sissy, I missed you! I thought you wouldn't come back for me," Camilla said enthusiastically. This kid is really adorable.

"I have one word, I'm sorry and it just took me a while. It took a while because my last class ended a while ago and your sissy Leslie is slow." I laughed as she was surprised by this.

"Woah, so now it's my fault? Who here is not a ship but floats all day." It was a sarcastic answer while pretending to look around. Well HAHAHAHA I just shook my head and laughed a little.

"Let's go?" I said; asking Camilla with a smile.

"Where are we going sissy? Shall we eat again?" It was an eager question with a smile. I will change your life and destiny, little Angel.

"We're going home," I replied with a smile as I held out my hand, which she immediately accepted.

"We will go now, Father. Farewell." I let Father Salmon know, he smiled and nodded.

"Take care, huh? Thank you so much for adopting Camilla, God bless you." He said with a smile.

I just smiled back before we turned and walked away. There is some joy and pain in my heart. I don't understand why there is a pain when it should be just joy.
