Chapter Four

Cloud college.

Pablo sat in a chair next to Alexa. She glanced at him and smiled before sliding a paper to him. They were having a lecture and she didn't want to make any noise that could distract or piss the lecturer off.

Professor Kelland Cunningham, one of the best lecturers in cloud college, is known for his strictness and hot TA. Everyone wants to be on his good side, everyone including Pablo. That's why he has been going to Mr. Cunningham for help anytime he needs one so he could get on his good side. And perhaps see this hot TA everyone's been talking about. He has never met her there and he never thought to ask anyone about this. Pablo picked up the note to read what it said.

"So, have you returned the box?..."

It was just yesterday he told his friend he was going to return the box to Eric. But after he met with Eric, he agreed to keep it. So he kept it secret from her. And hid the box somewhere where even if she lets herself into the house she won't find it. Everything will be fine, as long as she doesn't find out.

He scoots closer to Alexa so he can be able to whisper to her without anyone hearing. "I did," He lied. "He was a bit disappointed, but he later collected it. We no longer have that cursed group watching over us."

Pablo looked around the class as he felt as if someone was watching him. He met eyes with a girl who sat a few meters away from him. She was staring at him even when eyes meet. Her long blue hair rest on her shoulder and complimented her dark skin. She wore a glass which made her look even more pretty. His eyes flickered down to her chest. He quickly looked away. Now she smiled and turned back to the lesson. He facepalmed.

"You okay?" Alexa asked.

"Yeah..." he replied. "Who's that girl over there?... The one with the blue dress. "

The girl turned back to Pablo and Alexa. She smiled again before turning back.

"Oh her?... Never seen her before" she drawled. "Probably new here. She's cute though? And I think she's taking a liking to you."

"Too bad I like someone else," He chipped.

After the class.

Pablo walked over to a bench just opposite a bank in the college. He looked around the place, making sure no one was watching him before he sat on it and pulled out the box from his bag. He kept the box on the table next to him, still looking around.

After dropping the box, Pablo had only walked a few meters away, when a thought popped into his head, what if he sticks around and sees who comes to take the box? It won't hurt to know who he's working with or rather, for. He made up his mind and changed to a different bench just opposite the one he was in. He puts on his earpiece and turns to the box. He sat like that for five minutes or so, and no one took the box. Only a few people glanced at it while walking past. This didn't stop Pablo, he still sat there watching the box closely. A few moments later, his phone buzzed. He took his phone out to see a message from the eye labeled contact. Seeing this, Pablo looked around to see if anyone was watching him, he was scared. He looked at his phone in terror while clicking the message.

"Leave. Don't. Stay. There. Leave now." That was what the message say. This made him frightened. He quickly ran out of there without even glancing back.

He didn't stop until he arrived at the student council office, where he found Eric. The moment Eric saw him, he stood and led Pablo to the roof of the building where he made sure no one was present before speaking

"What happened, why are you all out of breath and scared? Did something happen?"

"What is this group?? How are they knowing what I'm thinking now?"

Eric chuckled. He pulled out an envelope from his pocket and hand it over to Pablo. "This came in a few minutes ago... I believe it belongs to you."

Pablo collects it and ripped it open. He opens his eyes wide and his jaw dropped. "What the fuck?!... Th-there's like fifty... thousand bucks in here."

He smiled and playfully punched Pablo in the shoulder. Pablo stared at the money shocked. Only one job and he gets this much amount of money, this was more than enough to pay his bills for the month.

Eric continues. "The eye knows everything. Just do exactly as they ask, and everything will go well. I promise."

He couldn't help but smile as he stared at the money in his hand. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all.

Two weeks later.

Pablo and Alexa walked out of their class, hand in hand like a couple on a date. Pablo squeezed her hand. "Ouch." She screamed lightly while pulling her hand away from his grip. She glared at him.

"So, are you going home? Or you wanna go out to eat with me?" He asked.

"I think I'll retire for today."

He nods and waved at her as she walked away. He heard footsteps approaching from behind so he turned. As he turned, he saw the girl that had been smiling at him in his class.

"Hi," She greeted. "I'm René. You know, me. The girl..."

"Oh hey... you," He politely exclaimed. "I'm Pablo? Do you... ehm, need anything?"

"Yeah, I'm new here, and I, need...could you help me with my studies?" She says bluntly.
