His second woman

Christopher became frozen yet again and immediately remembered kissing her on the chest every night before going to sleep. He had done it not only to express his feelings for Alison but also to remind himself that Alison was the only one who mattered. 

His heart, however, had slipped from his grasp and began to beat for Abigail. He had no idea when the seemingly impossible became feasible. 

"You only cared about this heart," she said, pressing her finger against her sternum. "I was stupid that I didn't figure it out sooner. Despite my suspicions, I refused to accept the truth. I ignored everything and continued to love you, hoping to win you someday." 

She curled her lips into a bitter smile. "But you have only Alison in your heart. I was a fool to think I could find a place in your heart. How could I add more water when the pot was already full?"
