“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

The Billionaire's Sick Wife

Christopher had not gone home; instead, he had gone to the club where he used to go and spent the whole day drinking alcohol.

The manager of the club was familiar with him. He called Brad and informed him about Christopher.

Brad arrived and was staring at him, his brow furrowed and his elbows spread out on the sides. He was concerned for his friend. He had seen him get drunk whenever Christopher was extremely disturbed.

Christopher had overindulged in alcohol several months earlier on Alison's death anniversary, and he did it again when he was having problems with Abigail.

Brad was certain Christopher had another heated argument with Abigail.

"Damn, this man is impossible. He will not stop fighting her."

He pulled him up and dragged him out of the club. After putting him in the back seat, he got into the car and dialed Abigail's number.
