“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

Amidst the post-photo session buzz of excitement and celebration, Abigail managed to find a moment of privacy to speak with Vivian. She began the conversation by offering her genuine congratulations on the surprise Eddie had presented, her warm smile conveying her happiness for the family.

"It's amazing to know that he has started his own business. I am truly happy for him," Abigail said warmly. But there was a question that had been weighing on her heart, and she finally decided to voice it. "I was wondering why he had taken such a decision all of a sudden without informing Christopher. Is he not happy with Christopher?"

She paused, taking a moment to gather her thoughts and searching for the right words to convey her concerns. "It is so sweet that he has purchased his mother's dream house. But I thought another house was not needed. This mansion is so big. Its charm is in the people living here. Without them, everything here will be dull."
