“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

Christopher observed Eddie's departure and wondered where he had disappeared. Meanwhile, Brad hurried over and accidentally bumped into him, much to Christopher's irritation.

"Watch out!" Christopher exclaimed, irritated. When he realized it was Brad, his scowl widened. "What is it? What are you doing running around?"

"Oh, Chris… Thank goodness." Brad heaved a sigh of relief. "I can't handle these women. They are dangerous. Anastasia will kill me if she finds out I'm associating with them. Phew…" He blew air out of his mouth. "I shouldn't have come here."

Christopher raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his voice. "If you're so afraid of your girlfriend, you should have reconsidered being here in the first place."
