Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

Jasper pulled into the driveway of their villa, his mind racing with anticipation. He had spent the whole day thinking about how he would break the news to Ella, and he couldn't wait to tell her finally. His mind was filled with excitement as he was eager to share the good news with Ella. At the same time, he was a little worried about how Ella's mood would be.

Would she continue talking about the same thing as in the morning? Would she say that she would leave him?

Jasper parked the car, his gaze lingering on the villa before him. Even if Ella insisted on distancing herself from him, he wouldn't give up on her. As he exited the car, he took a deep breath and tried calming himself down. He didn't want to seem too excited or nervous; he just wanted to share the exciting news with her.

Ella’s satisfying response
