A Whole New World!

We saw the city cresting the hill around the middle of the night. And from afar, it looked to be a mountain carved into the shape of a city. A layer of mist floats over the walls distorting anything behind it. All we can tell is that there appear to be 6 rings with walls protecting each ring. It almost resembled some kind of fortress, and it felt like it didn't quite belong to the world we were familiar with.

After seeing it for the first time, it looked like we would reach it quickly, and oh, how we were wrong. No city had such high walls as this one. No city felt as imposing as this city. We rode another 30 hours before reaching beneath its walls. Upon arrival, we decided to camp and rest in case we were wrong, and this wasn't our destination but some bizarre ruin that appeared from nowhere. The night and morning of rest were full of anxiety for everyone involved. No one knew what to expect.

Every plan he had was derailed. Unsure of the next step, he can only hope the Goddess arrives soon to work things out. Gathering Altina and her adventurer party, Aziz takes the lead heading for the city gates. Upon reaching, nothing happened. Everything is locked as though it had been sealed in ancient times, holding till today. Deciding to press on, he had Altina attempt to open the gates.

The moment her hand touched the gate, the whole gate flashed in a blue ripple, causing everyone to draw their weapon and expect mayhem to befall them. When nothing happened, even for several moments, the gate suddenly lit up. Every groove of the gate lighting in the glowing hue of mana.

"Administrator Sunny has Authorized access for 10 individuals. When ready, place your hand upon the gate, and you will be transported to the central region. Any additional acquaintances must wait 6 hours as updates are completed." A sultry voice broadcasts from the gate. Startling Aziz and the gang.

Starla, quick on the uptake with a younger, more flexible mind, explains it to Aziz. After speaking with the rest of the caravan, it is decided that Altina, Celene, Aziz, Starla, and 6 of the more important merchants head to the gate. They place their hands on the gate one by one before blinding light engulfs them. When they suddenly disappear from sight, the caravan becomes nervous. No one is reacting or panicking, but the stress has noticeably increased.

Meanwhile, in the sect master's living room, ten people appear at its entrance only to see a female monkey-like creature that looks like someone beat them to within an inch of her life. Seems she did get into a pinch this time. The distant sound of giggles on the wind is easily missed by those present while a loli with puffed cheeks stomps her feet through the void.

Opening my eyes, I see a golden-haired angel looking at me with the utmost concern. My first thought is, heh, it looks like I can try to seduce an angel to have sympathy for my terrible plight. My next thought was that my angel just became a dude, and I was actually in hell. But before I could freak out, I saw the OG crew standing over me, and then it hits. That damned loli had her wife beat me up anyways, I can't do anything about it now, but nothing can stop my vengeance.

"Poor Celene, you died too. Come, let me hold you for all eternity as I comfort your innocent soul." I say. My best fake tears came from my eyes, and my hairy arms outstretched for a hug. Only for it to hit me again that I need to shapeshift again. Urgh.

"Your not dead, Goddess. We came to help with the city. But you built it without us." Celene responds by crying like a child after their parents break their favorite toy.

"I didn't build the whole thing, just the framework. The Damn core took 30 million crystals to build. The walls, water source, aqueducts, barriers, teleporting formation, and building of the sect master, elder, and core disciple housing took 10 million. The library took 50 million, and the 500 training centers cost 150 million crystals. I only had enough to fill the energy reserve to last 300 years and leave a hundred million for operating costs to build, furnish and grow the sect and city. Im so broke Celene comfort me. Wahhhh." I replied using a new transformation turning myself into a 10-year-old. Yep, I'm broken.

Everyone in the room is looking at me like an idiot. And I mean everyone, as there are a bunch of people I don't recognize, so here we go again. Pride who needs it, self-respect, why would I care. My image, welcome to rock bottom population me yay.

"So what's the sitch, Aziz," I say while shifting back to my more adult form and taking my place on the couch in a seated position.

"Well, we have a lot of merchants, resources, labor, etc., all waiting outside the gate for us to return and give them a game plan. Also, we have no idea where we are or what's going on with this place. So care to fill us in." he asks with a no-nonsense look.

"Why so serious?" I ask back

"I sold everything I had, took all my money, and bought everything I could to help build an oasis city. My entire tribe Is headed this way to help. We bet everything on this, and I'm surprised and terrified, so an explanation would be fantastic." He responds, almost losing his composure in the process.

"Alright, everyone, sit down, well except for you, Celene, I need your help." I pull out a golden tablet and hand it to her.

"This is the core registration tablet. Place your hand on it and say inspect." I instruct.

She complies, and the tablet glows before a data string appears on it.

Name: Celene of Orario

Faction: Abandoned god

Morality: 7

Power: Falna tier 2

Status: nonregistered

After seeing what appeared on the tablet, everyone was surprised. No matter the power level, this level of inspection is not something any other group could accomplish. Even the heaviest of security in Orario used guild cards. This could change everything.

"Now say register."

"Register," Celene says softly.

"Detecting Disciple registration qualifications, referred by . Do you wish to complete disciple registration?" That sultry voice from early echoes from the tablet, causing chills in the men present.

"Yes" Celene shouts enthusiastically.
