The Successful Pathway to Chaos

With Scarlet now as head governor, that meant things were downhill for all furries.

Scarlet's promotion was broadcasted to televisions worldwide including the hideout, Everwood. Now Blueberrii and her friends knew that Everwood had to go on a complete lockdown but first they needed food and supplies.

They sent their most skilled furries on the scene to get them food before Scarlet does anything to rid furry kind. After a year they had enough food, fruits and stock to last them some decades.

Unfortunately, Scarlet also in just a year's time, took her plan to action right after they finished collecting their goods without her realizing.

She had even already mapped and scaled a plan on how she was going to take her plan into action. She would secretly abort any furry baby to be born before the mother even knew it was a furry and say the baby didn't make it so that she could prevent any new furries into existence.

Then she would gain the trust of the citizens and declare all furries to be taken into the care of a system that would keep them all in a safe place, little did others know, those furries would actually be taken into a secret prison for Scarlet's evil deeds.

Scarlet's position of power started to reveal more than her true colors, her evil intentions and who or what type of human she really is now that she can take any matter into her hands.

Now it was time for Scarlet to make a governmental speech and declare a matter to be dealt with, so she held a microphone and started speaking, "Attention citizens of Woodlock! Humans, animals and whatever form of what you are, starting from tomorrow, ALL furries on earth are to be held in our care for investigating what they are and possibly finding a cure to these disfunctions by our mandates. All workers of the force are required to help retrieve furries on the scene."

She told tales of deceit on how they would be taken to a wonderful beach resort in an indisclosed location. "Yours respectfully, Scarlet Bellawood." She ended.

From the distance as she finished the announcement, a woman screamed and then exclaimed, "THE END IS HERE!" Government officers rushed over then took her baby, who was in fact a furry from a crying mother.

Passers-by start looking at each other in panic and confusion. Jasper walks out of the building. "Don't worry they'll be safe in our care." he states.

Most people were calm, accepted it others left in skepticism and they were even excited. The news of Scarlet's announcement spread all around Everwood like rapid wildfire.

That's when it was official, Everwood had to go on a complete lockdown from society. They had recruited as many new furries as they could, but they knew it wasn't enough.

Lights started flashing red in Everwood, the ground started to shake. Blueberrii looked to her friends in fright and confusion on to what they had intruded upon video game night.

"Attention all furries. Report to the central command district in Everwood headquarters immediately." said an announcement. That was most they could hear from the speaker being muffled to deafening sirens.

"That sounds like Krystal." said Miles. They all agreed they had to go to Everwood headquarters immediately and ran there wasting no time.

When they got there, Krystal, Kimchi and Dawn were waiting for them and so were a bunch of Everwood's lost creatures from every area of Everwood. "As far as you've known, the new elected head of the government, Scarlet has declared new orders, right?" Dawn spoke. The furries mumbled to each other in agreement on the point.

Blueberrii, in shame looked away and hid her face. Dawn saw her embarrassment and despair then called her and her friends up to the front to discuss their points on the situation.

"I'm so sorry this was all my fault. None of this would have commenced if I hadn't been born in this world." Blueberrii said with tears rolling down her face. Dawn's face was full of sorrow for her.

"Scarlet's a terrible person, no furry should ever have the burden of dealing with her, which is why we're in it together!" the crowd of furries started cheering.

"My parents were mad scientists who were after me at birth, I understand your pain. We are in it together" a furry said. "Mine were animal product testers who assumed me an animal! We are in this together." exclaimed someone in the crowd. "My grandmother abandoned me at first sight!" yelled another.

Soon everyone was listing their tragic tales in fury, inequality filled with hope and confidence in their speech.

"Oh great, see that Dante? Now that Blueberrii's here riots are being tolerated in Everwood." Axel said to Dante.

"Well maybe if you give it a chance this fight might blossom into something beautiful." Dante replied. "Scarlet really is a sick person." "Whatever, all I know is if anyone I love gets killed by Blueberrii's sister, I'm kicking Blue's ass." Axel grunted.

He didn't want to be a part of the conflict since he first heard of it. He shrugged it off as nothing serious and never liked Blueberrii's crew, mostly because he thought they were annoying.

Blueberrii looked at her friends, and they were cheering her on, with tears falling down their faces, then shared a group hug, but time was running out.

Officers would very soon be searching on the scene on lookout, and they had no more time to discuss emotions, no matter how badly they wanted to.

Dawn pulled a lever and soon the floor started to lower itself, they were moving into a deeper hidden area of the earth.

They heard the soil above them moving and the entrance tubes closed in on the sides of Everwood. They all had to stay in Everwood with food and supplies to assist them in survival.

Many were wiping tears off their faces in acceptance that this is how life's going to be from now on. Vivianne usually never shared emotions but even she shed some tears, but above them on the surface things were only getting worse.
