Bachelorette.

[Third person POV]

Hailee had been pacing since she saw the news of Clayton getting married, it was unheard of, they said they would marry in a month.

"Love I think it is time you give up, she is his wife now and you cannot do anything to her." her father says, but Hailee's reaction altogether made him nervous.

"Are you insane, the is always divorce okay, ugh…..., I will have to crash that gathering they have tomorrow, then I would deal with her decisively."

Though she was warned enough times, for some reason she still felt like Clayton was still in love with her, thus she didn't believe his retaliation would be that extreme.

[Kaleah POV]

Again, I have locked myself in the room after that embarrassing fall, I think I should stay here for a while. It seems to be busy outside since I woke up, it has been noisy.

"Unlock this door Leah, we need to get your dress ready," I hear Cyan outside the door, "open this door or I will talk to insane Conan to knock this door down."

I sigh before moving to unlock the door, I do not open it, I return to sit at my bed.

Cyan barges in, "finally, I know this morning was a bit 'embarrassing' but your wedding day is tomorrow."

"Oh…"

"Do not eve give us that tired look, do you know how hard it was to get you wedding dresses without you."

"Aaron?"

"Yes, me," Aaron says before giving me a warm hug, "you know it is not your fault, right?"

"It was just so embarrassing, Clayton must be so disappointed in me," I say into the warmth of his hug.

"Ohhh… first name basis," Aaron teases, "enough about this morning, we have to choose a dress for you."

Just then Taylor and another woman walked in with a rack of clothing.

"Hi, my name is Marie, and I am the designer for your wedding dresses," the other woman says, "the dresses might not be perfect, but we had little to not time so please bear with us," she says sheepishly.

I had looked at the dresses in awe, it was funny, how beautiful they were, "your husband told me to make sure they are blue, he even threatened me."

"He... what? What is wrong with that man?" I say making Marie chuckle, "don't worry, I understand his frustrations you are quite a precious lady Mrs. Beckett," Marie says.

"Exactly, that is what I have been telling her, she is a queen." Cyan says, "now start trying the dresses."

With a few gossip about what Aaron had been up to and a few teases about my flash wedding we started trying on the dresses.

It was fun I had also forgotten completely of all my worries.

"Okay I think this is the dress," I say before walking out to show them the dress.

They are all in awe of it, something I feel proud of seeing, how Cyan's jaw just drops instantly, how Marie looks so proud.

"Knock-knock-knock," I hear a knock but before answering Cain is already swinging the door open.

"Sorry, for interrupting, oh," he says, "you look beautiful Mrs. Beckett, I am sure Mr. Beckett would be happy to see his bride tomorrow."

I could feel my whole body heat up, I was blushing, oh, no one has ever called me Mrs. Beckett that nonchalantly. I do not know what is worse, my heartbeat or my friends teasing me.

"What brings you here Cain?" Cyan asks, trying her best to act cute around her boo, their relationship is quite entertaining to watch.

"Oh... this, your signature is needed here so you and Mr. Beckett can fully adopt Zoey." He says handing me the papers, I am in awe, I can see father's signature handing us the parental rights.

"Did... did my father sign away his rights?" I ask, "how much did he demand, I will pay Clayton back I swear."

Cain chuckles at my question, "Mrs. Beckett, perhaps you are not aware of this, but you are Mrs. Beckett."

Cyan and Aaron nod at this, "exactly, it means his money is your too," Cyan says so proudly.

"And besides we didn't have to pay your father a cent to get the parental rights, we made sure of it."

"Oh?" what, my greedy father just let go of his meal ticket just like that, how peculiar. I sigh before signing the papers and handing them to Cain.

"Thank you, as of tomorrow you two would be the legal parents of Zoey Beckett, congratulations."

"Wait, Zoey Beckett?"

"Yes, Mr. Beckett said we should make sure you tow are no longer associated with the Huxley name; besides she is his daughter too now." Cain said emphasizing the point that Zoey is Clayton's daughter.

"Fine, you may leave now Cain," Cyan says pushing her man out of the room, "and don't tell Clay anything about her dress okay."

"I will not tell him," He says smiling, "by the way, the groom sent this to his bride be sure to give her tomorrow morning," he says handing a box to Cyan.

The rest of the day goes along with an at home bachelorette party, we drink wine while dancing the night away, I feel a tiny bit nervous about tomorrow, I hope everything goes as planned.

We all slept in the same room drunk after the party, which was until I felt thirsty and needed to go downstairs for some water.

They have already done a few decorations for the party downstairs; it looks beautiful; the fragrant jasmine flower fills the whole house so wonderfully.

I turn to leave but I meet Clayton who seems to have just gotten home.

"And there is my bride," he says in a tired voice, "you must have had a wild bachelor party," I say.

He doesn't respond, instead he walks to me and gives me a hug, "we just got married and we didn't even spend our first night together," he says in a low tone.

"Oh… um, we can do that tomorrow after the wedding." I am blushing to the last tip of my toes, oh, how can he blindside me like this with that statement.

"We definitely will," he says sweetly, I can feel his tired heart beat from the position we were in.

"We should head to bed," I say, but he doesn't move. "Let us stay like this for a while, please." He said with a pleading voice, and I did, I let him rest his head on my neck.

After a while we said our goodnight and retired to our respective rooms, I can feel my heart beat fast with each step, I am wholeheartedly falling for this man and he is making it too easy for me to, tomorrow sure would be a challenging day for poor in love me.
