Unwanted guests.

[Third person POV]

The next day the Beckett house was in full swing for the wedding being held that day.

"Good morning," Allie Beckett, wife to Clayton's uncle had arrived first with her husband.

"Mother, you made it," Conan says hugging his parents.

"You know we could not miss Clayton's big day, and since you have not come home since we visited. we wanted to see our son." Samuel says to his son, who was now nervously rubbing the back of his neck.

"When are you getting married?" Conan's mother asked rendering him into a corpse, Conan Beckett, getting married?

"I will go greet the other guest," he says before bolting, "you will not run away from your responsibility, you will get married." His mother shouts at him as he runs.

Conan continued to help Mrs. Dealers and her workers as the decorate for the wedding, the catering services had already started with making food for the few guests to come to the wedding.

Meanwhile the girls and Aaron were getting ready for the wedding in their own way, since it is an intimate ceremony, they had opted to no bridesmaids.

"So? Are you nervous for the wedding?" Cyan asks her friend, who looked more nervous than ever.

"Of course, I am, what if he changes his mind," Kaleah replies, Cyan had rolled her eyes before taking out the box she was told to give the bride the previous day.

"What is this?" Kaleah asks.

"A gift from the groom, open it," she urged happily, when Kaleah opens the box, she is in awe, it is a beautiful antique pearl necklace with customed earrings.

"Oh… is this the jewelry I am supposed to wear?"

"Duh…. My mother wore them on her wedding day, so was grandmother and great grandmother."

Kaleah had gaped in awe, "why would he give me this?"

"Because you are about to be his wife," Aaron interjects, "come on we need to get you ready for the wedding."

"This is too important for him to give to someone like me," Kaleah continues to grumble.

"Stop worrying Kaleah, Clayton giving this to you proves how he really feels about you, don't you think." Cyan reassures, "let us get you ready, okay."

Kaleah sighs before letting her friends put makeup on her.

The bride was able to get ready in time, her beautiful ball gown complemented with the beautiful pearls, her makeup done in a lovely way and her hair done in a ponytail.

The groom had prepared himself too, with a black tux and a complementary blue tie, his black hair slicked back and his beautiful brown eyes shining with anticipation.

"Who knew there was a woman out there that can make you act a fool?" Joshua says with a chuckle.

"Can you not, you are just a fool for your wife as I am," Clayton defends.

"But I never was a stoic piece of crap like you, I always was open to love," Joshua says, "like you are getting married before Cain, and Cain is a sweetheart, poor Kaleah."

Clay rolls his eyes at his friend, yes, he never was one to dream of marriage, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a wife right.

"By the way, I thought you were going to Hawaii for that serial killer case, why are you still here?"

"I want to witness my friend's wedding geez, work doesn't come over my loved ones okay, you are getting married you should at least know that."

"Of course, I know that Josh, Kaleah means a lot more than my job," Clayton explains.

"Come on, the reception is ready, time for the groom and the bride to come," Cain interjects, "and don't lose your mind boss, she is already your wife."

Clayton rolls his eyes before getting up, "come on let us get me married."

Joshua cannot help but laugh at his friend's anxiety, who knew that Clayton Beckett would ever get anxious about marriage.

Mrs. Dealer had outdone herself, the beautiful colors of royal blue and gold were sure beautiful, but the jasmines were sure a highlight. Most guests were already in their seats in the backyard while the catering people were busy making food in the kitchen.

"Uncle, I am so happy you made it," Clayton greets his uncle as he arrives at the beautiful backyard.

"Look at you smiling like a fool," his aunt joked, "this girl sure is special. Well, I have met Zoey, and she is sweet munchkin, mother cannot keep her hands off her, they are even wearing matching clothing."

"Grandmother seem to be in love with Zoey, she hasn't taken her hands off her since they met," Clayton says.

"Are okay with it though?"

"Uncle?"

"Raising a child that is not yours, are you okay with it?"

"Of course, I am, I love Zoey just as much as I love my wife, I would love raising her."

"That is good, as long as you are happy."

"I think people should go to their seat; the bride is about to walk down the aisle."

As people go to their seat, Clayton is disgusted by a group of people when they enter.

"Should I chase them out?" Joshua asks his friend.

"No, as long as they do not cause trouble to let them sit down, just make sure they know the consequences of disrupting my wedding.

"Okay," Joshua says walking to the unwanted guests to warn them.

Soon Kaleah's bridal party joined the guests, before they announced the bride was on her way.

She sure was beautiful, her ball gown sure was enough to make every guest into a gaping fish, her elegance and beauty sure was timeless.

She smiled as she made her way to her groom, but she was completely shocked to see some guests here.

She takes a deep breath before resuming her walk, she cannot help but feel extra anxious, her father along with his son and another woman she assume it is his wife, sitting next to him was Hailee Leech with a grin on her face along with James and Lola.

She feels really anxious, why are they here, what if this is a sign that this wedding is sure to be ruined?

"You look beautiful," Clayton says to her making her smile.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered today to witness a union of this man and woman, if there is anybody who would have to object to why this two should not be married speak now or forever hold you piece."

With that Hailee and her group had stood to say something, Kaleah looks at Clayton with tears in her eyes.
