A little bit about me

Great Blue Planet

That was the name of the world that I was in. Kinda cringy but it's not like I named it.

According to the history that was taught to everyone in the classes.

Some 600 years ago, humanity was attacked by another civilization and were taken in as vassal slaves and were commonly used as war rations, fertilizers and reproductive bags.

But all that changed when the civilisation who captured the humans got destroyed by another civilization.

The defeated civilization only had a few forces left but humanity took nearly 200 years to defeat those forces and regain their freedom.

But before the defeated civilization finally got done, they used their trump card and unleashed a spacial tunnel that transported the entire Blue Planet in an another world.

But that wasn't the end, the world that the Blue Planet was transported to had a planet that was filled with powerful monsters. The final remnants of the defeated civilization somehow caused a space-time distortion and connected the Blue planet and the monster world.

Cut to 400 years later, aka today, now the Humans are relatively at peace and only some terrorist attacks, muggings, extortion, kidnapped, gang defilation and many others happen.

But humanity is still fine.

As for what happened in the 400 hundred year and how did the humans defeated the ancient civilization and beast tides from the another planet?

(Beast tide - Official name of the phenomenon of the beasts attack that happens when the tunnel gets loose.)

I don't know, no one taught me that, not at school and also not in the media or internet.

The information regarding the past 400 years just doesn't exist for the normal people. What they had was a dramatic political stuff and kindom building tales.

Nothing about the otherworldly. Nothing.

The unknown is the most dangerous. I have learnt it's meaning quite clearly in my past.

One of the main reasons why I decided on a normal life with my normal wife and my normal family. My kids can duck off, if they want to be powerful warriors or mascot they can, I don't care.

I just wanted to leave a peaceful life in my new life.

Emphasis on wanted. Now...

I want something else. Something bigger than anyone could imagine.

And I will have it. I will have...

"Student Shi Yan, wake up."

Just as Shi Yan was dreaming of his final goal, his legs were hit with something causing him to fall down on the hallway.

Shi Yan slowly opened his eyes and used his hands to prop himself up from the ground.

He knew who the voice belonged to and sometimes he hated her.

"What happened teacher Ye? Did your class end?"

Shi Yan asked while looking at the other kids who were peering at him from the door, completely ignoring the seething Teacher Ye.

"YOU!"

Teacher Ye looked at the nonchalant Shi Yan and nearly tore his martial admission application in anger.

Shi Yan looked at the envelope in her hands and took it from her hands without asking.

He peered through the contents of the envelope as he saw the seal of the martial officials on it.

"I got accepted. That's fast. Good. Thanks for delivering it for me."

He took the envelope and proceeded to leave the school premises. Now he doesn't need the help of the school or the teachers anymore.

Teacher Ye on the other hand just stood there in silence. Her eyes turned cold but there was nothing that she could do. She was just that helpless against a person who had martial talent.

She and Shi Yan belonged to two different worlds. His status as an awakened person made his worth far higher than a civil servant like her and it will continue to rise.

Unlike what her scum student said, the value of Martial Masters and the people who are awakened as martial practitioner's were something that the normal people can't fathom and nor were they allowed to.

Their current world practically revolve around the martial masters and yet he was the only person who never took them seriously.

"I hate him."

She left the area in the befuddled eyes of the students who kept whispering about different stuff.

'Displining them will be harder than before.'

.....

Shi Yan slowly walked towards the gate and left the school. The guard didn't stop him.

After he was out of the school, he looked at the school one last time before departing.

"It was fun."

A smile formed on his face as he thought of the future ahead of him.

"I heard somewhere that she had a family of five to feed."

...

Principal's office.

The principal looked at Teacher Ye with anger in his eyes.

"Why did you sent his application to the Martial Bureau? You do realise that a person of his character is just a waste of resources?"

"Every person who has martial talent and wants to take the martial path is allowed to do so. Stopping them from doing that is equivalent to betraying the country. It is a state crime."

Teacher Ye curtly replied. The principal looked at her. He had no reply to that. If she had never submitted his application and Shi Yan never got his acceptance letter, knowing his character, he would have dragged the whole school to the ground and even beneath that.

And in the course of that, if Miss Ye just said that he, the Principal, was the one who forced her to do so, she would have escaped from the bureau but he would not.

"... Why did he change his mind? Is it his parents death? Or his friend? Wasn't he on bad terms with both of them? Just what happened that he decided to apply for it even though he vehemently rejected the direct admissions a month ago? I even have to apologise."

The principal began to murmur to himself. Teacher Ye silently stood at the side and thought the same as well.

"Maybe he just wanted to change? Or maybe the death of his family did impact him, although there are no visible change in him?"

The principal looked at the leaving figure of Shi Yan in the security footage and wondered.

"How did he got his acceptance application so fast? Doesn't it take around 16 to 20 hours for it to be accessed and accepted?"

The principal asked Teacher Ye.

"I... wrote a letter of apology to the invigilator that came to admit the students. He called me later and sent the envelope of his acceptance."

"Huh? That bal, I mean Mr Chen accepted Shi Yan's application. Huh, well looks like that kid is going to get what he deserves. Considering the things that he said to Mr Chen, I am pretty sure that he might have just gone on a murder spree if he wasn't stopped by his senior. Good. Good. Really good."

The principal's downtrodden mood took a 180° turn as he heard about this. He knew who Mr Chen was and he knew the extent of anger that Mr Chen felt on that day where he was publicly humiliated for being bald.

He was the one who personally had to apologise multiple times and even made some amends to stop his rage from diverting from Shi Yan to the school.

Mr Chen could do nothing to Shi Yan as his senior told him not to but he would have not spared the academy who raised a student like him.

"It's been a long time that you had your pay raise. I will inform the staff to raise your pay by 10% percent Teacher Ye. Good job."

The principal's mood kept getting better as he thought of the various scenarios Shi Yan will face.

"Thank you, Principal."

Teacher Ye politely bowed a little to show her respect and left the principal's office.

Her heart, just a little, happy at the pay raise, but it was enough for her. She can face and endure the antics of Shi Yan for a month for this much raise.
