THEY KISSED AND HE GOT LOST IN IT

Feeling like he was going to deep into his thoughts, he shooked his head to snap out of it.

Deciding to go back to work, he pushed all his messy thoughts to the back of his mind and continued working, very focused.

Actually, he wasn't very busy but they would be on this honeymoon for a week. Not wanting the work to pile up later, he started doing it now, at his free time.

He still had a lot of free time since it was a very long flight. It was a ten hour flight and only three hours had passed so far.

He was very concentrated, typing, writing, reading. He even took calls as because of work, his jet was different and allowed devices to be used unlike other air crafts where devices were switched off in order to prevent issues throughout the flight.

Soon he became so engrossed in his work that he forgot all about his little wife at the side.

Roderick's assistant then came in. He had been with the flight attendants, giving them quite a bit of information and instructions. However, he was quite speechless with what he saw when he stepped out.

The couple simply had too much space between them. Roderick was sitting on the right, Elena was in the left. Plus, there was an aisle separating them.

Was this a newlyweded couple?

It was as if they were strangers to each.

Well...they were...

Plus, it was as if they were completing on indifference. They were both so distant to each other, it made the atmosphere thick, heavy and uncomfortable.

But actually, they did not realize this. They were not intentionally being indifferent towards each other, but we're busy doing their own things and didn't bother about anything else.

They didn't even notice how tense the atmosphere was. It was the coldness that radiated from them that made the atmosphere uncomfortable.

However, this wasn't the reason Luke, the assistant was there. Rather, he was there to check if they wanted anything to eat or drink.

He was about to go to Roderick first, but Roderick raised his head and signaled in Elena's direction. Getting the point, Luke went to Elena and asked.

"Would you like anything to eat or drink?"

Elena glanced at him and shook her head before lowering it to continue what she was doing.

Luke felt awkward. In his head, he kept saying that the personalities of the two indifferent people matched too well.

He then turned to Roderick to ask.

"A cup of black coffee and a glass of milk."He said nonchalantly.

Luke didn't say anything else and went back inside. After five minutes, he came out with the deverages.

However, Roderick had gone to the washroom and wasn't there. Luke didn't wait for him though and placed the beverages at the side before leaving again.

Roderick came from the back and stared at the chair Elena was in for a while. He wanted to know what she had been busy with. So he moved to stand behind her silently, not caring that it was an intrusion on her privacy.

He intended to only take a glance but what he saw made him stop for a moment.

It was a sketch of a dress, heels, a bag and even jewelry to go with it.

It was easy to see that it was an original design she had made herself.

He then went to his seat, in a bit of a hurry and searched for a document among the stack. He found it and read through it. Then he snapped it closed, a wide smile spreading across his features.

Elena had already noticed his eagerness and was staring at his back curiously. But he suddenly span around and caught Elena staring.

Feeling embarrassed at being caught, her cheeks up to the tip of her ears flushed. However, Roderick didn't mind and went to her directly.

"So you sketch designs?" He asked.

The question made Elena stunned and she didn't answer for a moment.

"Um...yes...?" She finally said after a while.

"Can you show me some of your designs?"

"Oh...okay."

Elena was actually quite flustered. She didn't know where all of this was coming from.

But she still showed him all her designs available on the graphic tablet.

For some reason, the moment Roderick saw the design, a smile bloomed on his cold, hard face.

Elena stared at him a a daze. In her haze, she felt her heart skip a beat. And suddenly, she became breathless and sucked in air sharply.

This attracted Roderick's attention and he looked at her. He was kneeling before her with the tablet in hand.

She was crouched down, looking at him and he looked up at her as well.

They locked eyes and were so close that they felt their breaths faning each other's face.

Roderick's usually neutral and dead grey eyes locked unto Elena's shimmering sapphire blue ones.

Roderick could see that her eyes had brighted up more than when she first married him. She seemed more alive how, though she was not happy.

Seeing this, Roderick also couldn't help but feel lighter, as if a stone that was pressing down on him was suddenly removed.

They were like that when Elena stuck a pink little tongue out to lick her pouty lips. Roderick's attention immediately shifted to her pink plump lips.

And his throat bobbed relentlessly. He felt the sudden urge to kiss her. It was strange, a while ago, he felt like he couldn't accept doing something too intimate with her but at this moment, his only thought was to claim her lips.

To taste her.

He was about to pull away when she laced her fingers through his hair and guided him up. He took the tablet and put it at the side before bracing her by putting his and at both her sides.

He then lowered himself again, pushing every other thought to the back of his mind. Elena looked at him, her eyes glistening beautifully.

He just gazed at her, still mesmerized by her beauty.

Elena waited for him to do something or say something but when nothing came, she lifted herself off the backrest of her seat and pressed her lips against Roderick's.

It was soft and she pulled back immediately afterwards. She blushed, shocked by her own actions.

However, she still stared at him, very confident.

The kiss made Roderick very tense but he also wanted more. Therefore, Roderick looked at Elena, lowered her head and pressed his thin lips against her's.

It went from being a soft and slow, hesitant kiss, to being hard, rough and passionate. Roderick could feel himself getting lost in the kiss and his body had already started reacting to Elena's sweet taste.

But this wasn't the place or time to do it and besides, Roderick really didn't know if he was reading for that.

Still it was hard to break way from her until she pushed gently against his hard chest, feeling out of breath.

The moment they broke away, Elena took sharp intakes of her much needed oxygen.
