Setting out......i

Saniko stood outside his master's inn room for a whole ten minutes before he could master enough courage to knock the door.

The knock broke Wanjiru's concentration. He was angry at first but thinking it would be the elf girl, his anger quickly subsided as he opened the door, only to be met by a bulky body that almost filled the doorway.

If Sinako had not being bowing his head, the anger and range in Wanjiru's eyes could have sent him kneeling.

"This lowly one greets the Master."

Wanjiru held back his anger as he let him in.

"Seat!"

He ordered him before pulling out a jar of wine and pouring two mugs for themselves.

Seeing the master hand him one of the mugs, Sinako quickly went down on his knee.

"Master, this lowly one can't accept your wine..."

Wanjiru cursed at the f*cking contract. He decided to teach Sinako a little lesson for he feared that if he continued acting like this, their master subordinate relationship won't grow the way he would wish it to.

Sinako fell silent as he waited for his master to either punish him or order him to rise.

"What would you do if I told you to pick your weapon and follow me into battle...?"

Sinako was at fast confused of why his master asked such a question out of the blues.

He wondered wether he was headed for a battle.

"I will do exactly as Master commands..."

"What if I told you to kill a hundred people for me...?"

Sinako didn't think long for an answer...

"I have already killed one for Master,a hundred more won't make me disobey my Master's order."

Wanjiru smiled as he understood the meaning behind the first half of the sentence...

"What if I asked you to jump off a cliff...?"

"I will gladly follow Master's request at the cost of my life..."

Sinako said without even flinching...

"What if I handed you a mug of wine...?"

Wanjiru asked as he handed him the mug,by now, Sinako had already understood the message behind his master's questions.

"This lowly one thanks Master for lesson."

He said as he took the mug.

"Good."

Wanjiru stood by the window as he slowly sipped his wine.

"Did you take care of everything I asked you to?"

"Yes Master..."

Sinako looked around for a place to place the two corpse on his storage ring on.

"Don't..."

Wanjiru stopped him as he threw him the blacksmith's forth ring.

"Use that for now..."

"Thank you master,"

Wanjiru walked over to him and took the ring offered to him by Sinako together with a few scrolls.

He pocketed the ring and went through the scrolls. As a smile formed on his face.

"Good work..."

"Thank you master..." Sinako bowed.

"Have you taken care of all your matters?"

"Yes Master, this lowly one is ready to follow Master on his endeavours."

"Good, for the time has come for us to set out..."

Wanjiru called up his status panel and sighed,he had overestimated himself by thinking he could manage to breakthrough into stage one,but remembering Sinako was stage 0 level 5,he felt comforted.

Wanjiru didn't plan on using his free status points so early. He led Sinako and headed for Quest Hall, here one could pick or regester a quest.

The place was packed to capacity with players making it noisy and hard to move.

The quests here we're refreshed after ten minutes, they squeezed their way to the furthest corner where the silver grade quests were posted.

From Sinako's report,he had learnt of a bandit eradicating quest that rewarded one handsomely.

Wanjiru spotted the quest quickly and he pulled the leather parchment containing the quest. He had a few gasp from the people around him but he didn't pay them any attention.

Heading to the counter,he officially accepted the quest and left the hall.

Sinako led him towards the slave market. The area was filled with cages. Captives off all races could be found here.

The merchants called out to the duo but Wanjiru paid them no heed.

The slaves he wanted could only be purchased from the black market, underneath the real slave market.

Walking into a dark ally,Sinako looked back at his master and after seeing him nod,he stumped thrice on the floor before a gruff voice cursed at him.

"F*cking idiot, don't you have anywhere else to be!"

"I came to pee..." Sinako retorted coldly.

"Does this look like a washroom to you...!"

"Go ask your grandma!"

Wanjiru was quite amazed by the two. He had never had of such a long vulgar password.

To him, most underground black market had one or two word password. The kinds of blue moon, shadow storm or scarlet like in the last game he played.

A hidden door open and they walked in.

Sinako handed a dwarf looking man twenty silver coins. The gate fee to the underground was quite expensive.

The place was just as Wanjiru envisioned. A dimly lit underground cavern,it was the size of five soccer fields. The stalls were well arranged.

Wanjiru wasn't interested in the first layer as they quickly headed to one of the few large buildings and took a flight of stairs to it's basement, only to appear in another open cavern.

The area here was brightly lit. They walked into a small building.

Where a hybrid middle aged woman welcomed them.

"Esteemed guests, welcome to our humble shop."

She greater them as she bowed.

"How may I help you?"

"We are looking for strong men..." Wanjiru paused before adding"at least those above stage 0- level 3."

The woman nodded as he led them through a small hidden door at the back of the shop.

They found themselves in a large room with cages arranged systematically.

"We have several stage 0-level 3 and above slaves from all races."

She said as she handed him a scroll, from her experience, she could tell that the young man was just a slave and didn't bother handing her one.

Seeing this, Wanjiru frowned and handed the scroll to Sinako as he stretched out his arm. The woman was surprised but she quickly bowed and apologized before handing him another scroll.

Looking at the scroll,he found it was an inventory of all their slaves. Wanjiru was only interested in human slaves at the moment.

He chose nine with the highest strength, agility and dexterity stats among them all, before landing his gaze on a middle aged man who had the highest intelligence stat and was two grades higher than the other nine.

Wanjiru discussed a bit with Sinako.

"Master, this lowly one has a suggestion..."

"Speak..."Wanjiru interest was piqued.

"This lowly one thinks it's good to add these three human females and these two elven girls as part of masters slaves."

Wanjiru had a look at their stats and apart from their above average intelligence, spirit and agility stats, there was nothing memorable about the three women.

The two elven girls had a trace of moon goddess bloodline that increased their healing and light magic.

"I don't see what special about these three,"

Wanjiru spoke his mind.

"Master, this lowly one thinks that with their high stats in intelligence and spirit,Master can nature them into combat mages."

Wanjiru laughed as he patted Sinako's shoulders.

"This Master apologizes for his blindness."

Sinako was about to reply when Wanjiru turned towards the woman.

"How much for all these...?"

The hybrid woman was shocked as this was her first time witnessing a master adhere to his slaves suggestions and even apologize to them.

She quickly pulled herself together and took the scroll handed to her. Her gaze fell on the fifteen chosen names.

She wasn't surprised by this as she had clients who bought tripple of what they did.
