The birth of Kong Tribe....

The birth of the Kong Tripe

It was just a few minutes after dawn when ,Kong, the little lamenting goblin, elder brother assembled all the five platoons of goblins under him. Each platoon had twelve goblins, and was led by a high-tier goblin as their lieutenant.

The platoon was further dived into two squads of six goblins with a sergeant as their leader. They were in charge of training the other goblins and overseeing them during small missions.

All of his sergeants had broken through to mid-tier goblins while some were in the verge of breaking through to high-tier goblins. The normal goblin soldiers were all approaching a break through into mid-tier goblins but he earlier on had feared that the lack of potential among his soldiers would weaken them in time, but with his little brother's bottles of pills, his men would grow stronger and have stronger babies.

From their oral literature, stories were passed down that children born of a hobgoblin father a hobgoblina mother would definitely become a hobgoblin and even had a small chance of surpassing the parents.

Being a goblin was hard,as only strength was worshipped but comparing a normal goblin's strength to that of an orc was like comparing a few drop to an ocean.

A sigh escaped him as he ordered his orders for them to march out...he only reported to the general....who was a mid-tier hobgoblin of his departure and purpose.

He had no need to lie as today was his company turn to go hunting.

He led them to a boars nest they had discovered, and had them sneak attack a single boar while in a squad, since it wasn't their first time doing saw, this tactic didn't reduce their efficiency but rather increased their and improved their team work.

By mid morning, they had already killed enough boars to supply the village with enough meat for two days.

A platoon was left to guard the corpses while the other two transported then.

As the other four platoons left....he commanded the two sergeants to have their squads transport three boars per squad to the hidden cave they had discovered.....

He was left alone guarding the remaining thirty boars.

It wasn't that he didn't trust the first two platoons but feared that the soldiers may bend to pressure.

Left all alone, Kong's elder brother pondered on their risky plan. He knew well that they couldn't occupy the village after killing the chief since those bandits could come back and kill them all.

He was in a dilemma for he knew that also establishing their own village was also a bad idea since they would be hunted by adventures as they were outlanders.

He didn't want to risk his parents and other goblins life in any way as he couldn't leave with such guilt.

He head started aching and that when he opted to leave the brainy issues to his brainy little brother and deal with the muscle issues. He knew that most soldiers were not satisfied with the chief ruling and only the two generals were on his side,as he handed them a few goodies brought to him by the bandits once in a while.

His first step was to have all his soldiers evolve into hobgoblins by the help of his little brother's bottle of magical pills.

Secondly, they had to carry out a force sneak attack in the middle of the night.

He would have four disguised platoon of newly evolved hobgoblins engage the guards,as to create chaos in the village so as to buy the remaining platoon, that would have sneaked in early to gathered every soldiers family,a chance to escape unnoticed.

The platoon that had headed for the cave returned, there was shock , disbelief and confusion in their eyes.

"So you met my little brother....?"

He asked even though he already knew the answer...

"Yes Captain...!"

"Don't talk about it to the rest....!"

"Yes Captain....!"

Ten minutes later.....the other four platoons returned and from the lieutenants face,he could see that they wanted to inquire on the missing six boars but he quickly hurried them along.

They hadn't gone far when he gestured for the others to transport the remaining corpses to the cave.

Inside the cave,a pseudo high-goblin and his two hobgoblina's were busy roasting meat.

Kong, had been teaching his two darling hobgoblina's the common Legacy language from morning but it was clear to him that the two were still exhausted from their previously heated act.

He looked at the three bottles he had been given.

The two with dark green pills were to be given to normal goblins while the green ones were his. He had to take a pill after three days and nights as to improve his constitution. That what the evil human explained to him, after revealing to him the negative side of his forced evolution.

He had assured him that if he followed up to his prescription,he would not only recover the strength and power of a high-goblin but may even unlock his hidden bloodline traits.

He heard dozen of heavy footsteps approaching and got out.

The same soldiers had brought back another six boars.

"Take them in the cave....then cut down some trees to build a fence sixty strides from this cave...."

Even though he was their captain...the goblin soldiers quickly obeyed for to them,a high-goblin was not a goblin to be disobeyed.

By the time Kong's elder brother led the four platoons to the cave, the other platoon had cut down enough trees for the fence and even some more for building sheds.

Kong's elder brother smiled when he saw this.....

"Little brother truly is the brainy one among ...."

He had another lieutenant lead his platoon to help cutting down tress, while the the other two chopped them to desirable sizes at the same time putting up a fence.

There was no need to have them going in search of vines since the area round the cave had alot of them.Actually, the amount of vines here could be used for the construction of a smaller village.

Walking into the cave,he to,like his soldiers was left mouth agape by the two beautiful hobgoblina's roasting meat.

"Aah....elder brother.... welcome..."

Kong hugged him as he lead him to the back of the cave.....

"Elder brother...I discovered another cave in here. He pushed a stone that was twice his size aside and walked through a tunnel dug in the wall.

After walking for a while....the tunnel that seemed man made came to an end, before them was a large coffin and around it were all kinds of shiny stones.

What they didn't know was that the cave was a legacy tomb and if they had been humans.... they would have activated the trial array by just setting foot in it.
