My vampire's physical and mental abilities far exceed those of a human being. I possess impressive physical strength; the average vampire is 3 to 5 times stronger than a human.
My speed allows me to run at a max speed of 25 to 30 miles per hour and leap at least 10 feet into the air. My body is extraordinarily resistant to damage, shrugging off injuries that would kill an average human, with the wound only slowing me down.
Injuries I receive, I recover quickly, taking less time than it would for humans, and can even regenerate lost body parts, a process that is sped up by the consumption of blood.
My nervous system is also more remarkable than a human's; their hearing, touch, and sense of smell gain heightened sensitivity.
My enhanced eyesight enables me to see even in total darkness.
My senses are so great they can even tell a person's emotional state through smell alone. I can also process information much quicker and more efficiently than humans can.
I possess extreme longevity; I physically age slower than humans. Purebloods will age normally until adulthood, at which point my body starts aging slower, while turn-bloods maintain the physical form they had upon conversion, though they, too, age slower.
I develop additional abilities beyond the natural abilities common in the species.
These extra abilities typically manifest as psychic abilities related to my personality quirks.
For example, a human who is very sensitive to other people's moods might develop the ability to read thoughts or influence emotions.
A human with limited precognition might develop into a vampire with a strong ability to see the future. A human with a good instinct for hunting might develop powerful tracking abilities.
My unique abilities are a rare proportion to the number of normal vampires. As an alpha hybrid, I can shape-shift into many things.
I have always been inspired by many vampire myths, such as shapeshifting, mind control, and turning into mist -a common trait in eastern vampires-
I was born a Dhampir. Dhampirs are the hybrid children of a vampire and a human. Dhampirs have both vampire and human traits.
I am much more robust and faster than humans, with sharper senses and as strong, fast, or sharp as a pure vampire.
I can eat solid food but generally find blood more appealing.
I also inherent their vampiric parent's longevity; however, this is where my story is different, my grandfather got bit by a wolf, and my grandmother got attacked by a vampire.
No one believed my grandparents. It was a fantastic myth I would love to tell my kids someday; I never believed until my mom died that I would be carrying the blood of the wolf and vampire, Maka has lived a hundred years, and she was waiting for this day.
She knew an Alpha hybrid would be born someday, and her job was to kill. When I was born, the vampiric world sent her to kill me.
I know this because I can read minds and shapeshift into invisibility, walking between those whispers meant for my enemies. Maka can't kill me because if she does, the underworld of darkness turns Into ashes.
The Dark Lord later found this out, and I know Maka has developed feelings. Unwanted feelings she can't get rid of.
The stones were discovered on an island in the center of the ocean under a rock, lying there for hundreds of years. When I was born, it lit up for the first time.
In vampire society, purebloods treat dhampirs as 'impure' and disdainful. Many humans treat them the same way, though this is not universal.
After what happened, Lei and Maka were not on speaking terms.
I dodged the bullet by saying Maka's blood saved me. Also, in the process, I made it clear to Mia.
I won't be dating anyone, my priority was my sister, and I needed to figure out who our enemies were. Besides Ling lying to my face, I pretended things were okay between us, and my strength increased to ninety percent, giving me the ability to do things I had never done before.
"Have you found out who has done this to my brother?" Said Huan as she walked over to a nearby rock.
Watching the lake flow downstream, Wei stood behind her with his hands behind his back, "no, we do know it's those kids in the city."
Huan had a silver walking stick with a snake head. Blue smoke spiraled around the stick to her hand as it lit up, and her eyes turned red. With her back faced to Wei, she walked down the stream as Wei followed behind her like the stray dog he was.
Huan raced her stick and stumped it to the ground as the water flow changed from bright blue to a dark misty blue.
The water level raised as the stream turned into waves, "the stream is what we were. The waves are what we are now.
I want answers, not possibilities, the Darklord will be up here, and he will show no mercy. Do you understand me, Wei?"
"I do, Master."
Huan turned around to face Wei. Her eyes were glowing red, she lifted her cane, and under it shot out a sharp point, she pushed it to his neck, stepping closer, "no mistakes."
She looked over at a guy behind Wei, and there was a sudden scream. As the guy turned into flames, he ran hysterically, screaming in pain, and jumped into the wave that threw him against the rocks breaking every bone in his body.
Wei knew he was dealing with someone a hundred times worse than Mr. Chan. The other men stood behind Wei as she stepped forward, looking at them, "I want those dogs all removed. There are no places for dogs."
"Yes, Master."
Huan turned her back, facing them, as they all departed.
I was in the kitchen, and Jia was in the lounge. She was watching her cartoon like a normal kid. I had many unanswered questions about Jia's ability, I wouldn't mention it.
I never tusted Mia completely, who had been nice to me and been back to her old self.
Today she wore short denim jeans and a black top. Maka wore black jeans and a black top.
The wolves have surrounded and guarded the house since Mia, and I almost died.
It felt like they anxiously waited for me to die. Maka came walking to the kitchen; she smiled at me as if we were strangers in school.
Things were slightly awkward, and Lei has not returned here since that incident.
Maka walked over to the window and shouted, "for how long are these dogs going to be outside?"
Ling looked up at her, and Mia got annoyed, remembering they were not her real family
They were using her all along.
"How about we all get out?" I said.
"Out to where?" Maka replied.
"Anywhere but here. I am sure you are as tired as I am with this house."
"That's a great idea," said Jia as she ran upstairs to change clothes.
Maka and Mia looked at eachother, Mia was my protector, but she looked more vulnerable at this stage. Maybe everything that had happened just took an enormous toll on her.
I couldn't tell; I was hoping this trip would change things.
The wolves started howling, and I walked over to the window
The weather had a sudden change. The dark clouds grew thicker as the sky trembled. Why are they howling?
It's not like this was the first time they had seen this weather, but that's when I noticed something unusual. Ling shapeshifted and ran up to the window, "you're under attack, and this time there are a hundred of them."
Jia came walking down the staircase, holding her doll. It was as if age had heard him.
"Don't be afraid," I said.
It started to thunder as the wolves stepped back, as the shadows flashed past them at lightning speed.
They growled in defense, exposing their razor-sharp teeth, "there are too many of them. We can't fight them all. We need a plan B."
Mia looked over at me, and even though this so-called family had betrayed her, she didn't want them to get hurt, "can't they all please come inside? There is a base in the lounge.
They won't be able to find us there, and it's an undergoing cave that leads out to the open mountain," Jia nodded.
Maka was not keen on the idea, afraid they would kill us.
I walked over to the door and opened it. The wolves refused to come in for their safety. Ling then stepped inside, and the others followed.
We locked the door, moved over the table, lifted the carpet, and opened the basement door. As they all went downstairs, the storm grew more vital as everything upstairs started to shake. We could hear windows rattling along with the sound of hissing. It's time I met the Dark Lord.
