The day of the grand event, Yuuei Sports Festival had finally arrived. Even from where they lived, Mokami and his family could see fireworks coloring the sky.

After bidding goodbye to his family, with Momo, he made his way over to the school. There were a few reasons why he did want Mika and others to stay at home. But the most important reason was, it was safer. Although he still believed no one would attack Yuuei during the festival, he still decided to convince them to stay at home. They could watch him and Momo on TV. Being in the school didn't matter as most wanted to see students and heroes. Mika and rest could see him anytime they wanted.

The streets were decorated with colorful banners and balloons. Everywhere they looked, people were smiling and laughing as they prepared for the festival. Families were gathered around to make their way over, eating snacks like marshmallows and chocolate-dipped fruits.

Stands selling traditional Japanese food had sprouted up like mushrooms across the city, with some offering free samples to entice customers. All around him, Mokami could hear excited screams coming from children and adults alike in anticipation of the upcoming events.

The school went far and beyond this time and hired much more pro-heroes than the original. It was obvious that Nezu was intimidated by Shigaraki's actions.

After passing the tight security of pro-heroes hired by the school, the duo made their way to the waiting room and met with other students of 1-A.

The mood in the room was mallow. Due to their joint training, all the bad air in the class had already been purified. Only Bakugo and Izuku had some sort of dog fight, but they were holding themselves back when they were all together, so when Momo and Mokami entered, the room was quite peaceful. In groups of twos and threes, students were talking.

"Are you all ready to rumble?" He asked with a smile when all eyes turned on the two of them.

"Yes!" They all shouted.

"Today, we will walk out there, and show the world the future heroes are different from the past. When we finally get our license, the villains will hide in fear and bad guys will shiver in their bots. Today, we will declare to them that we are not to toy with, as we are... the best!"

"We are the best!!!"

"Then let's go." He grinned and opened the door. Others stood behind him and they walked the dark corridor.

"Are you feeling it?" Present Mic asked with a whisper that reverberated through every corner of the stadium.

"YES!"

"CAN YOU!" He shouted, "FEEL THEM COMING!"

"YEAAHHH!"

And they did feel them coming. Carrying a stereo each, Kirishima on the left, Shoji on the right, Mokami, Momo, and Itsuka leading the group of 1-A walked in.

"WE ARE HERE! WE ARE HERE! WE ARE HERE!"

For a second, the stadium with tens of thousands of people drowned in silence and listened as Class 1-A made their way. The rumbling voice of All-Might repeating "We are here!" over and over again from the stereo carried by two people. And after a few seconds, the audience exploded with cheers.

"The class was attacked by hundreds of villains and walked away scot-free, Class 1-A is here!!!"

Presence Mic shouted, making the audience go wild.

Following them, other classes walked out. Their faces wrinkled, as all looked at Mokami with murderous expressions. When this teen spoke to them two weeks ago, they thought he was humble and down to earth. Who could have known that he would make such a flashy entrance? Now they all hated him.

Mokami on the other hand had an everlasting polite smile on his face and was walking with his chest puffed, not flustered at all.

As they formed lines, Midnight Sensei took the stage and started to crack her whip. Mokami wasn't a horny teenager like his classmates. Although Midnight was hot, he had seen better, and Inko and Eire were much better. He wouldn't lose his cool with just this.

"Now, the player representation! Mokami Yaoyorozu of 1-A! Please come up and say the oath!"

When all eyes trained on him, he calmly walked up to the stage and faced the students, then he raised his gaze and looked at the audience. Everyone knew he had a spectacular performance in the entrance exam, so no one questioned why it was he who said the oath.

He took the microphone handed by Midnight and thanked me with a smile. Girls of all ages, across the nation, blushed as they saw his smile.

"Tasty~" He heard Midnight Sensei mutter so he flashed her another smile. Then he started the standard sportsmanship oath, " I, Mokami Yaoyorozu of UA do hereby solemnly swear that I and all the fellow students will abide by all the rules of the games, that we will respect all calls and decisions of the referees and game officials and that we will act at all times as a true sportsman whose desire to win is only second to the love of the game itself."

The audience cheered but he raised his hand, "I would like to add a few more things and I apologize in advance for taking up your time.

I truly believe everyone has potential for greatness." His first sentence drowned out the crowd, and everyone started to listen with pure attention.

"It was known before Quirks and only became obvious after they appeared, but no one was borns equal. No one gets the same head start. Parents, country, healthy body... No one can choose where they are born, thus the world is not fair.

But there is one thing fair in this world...

Everyone has the chance for greatness!

I know some of you think that people who are born with strong quirks were born under a lucky star and their path is smoother and that is true, but today, many of my fellow students will prove to you that, to achieve greatness, strong Quirk isn't a must. A mentality that thrives you forward and an unyielding spirit that forces you to become the best version of yourself is what counts most.

No one can choose where they are born. This is not only mean they cannot choose their nationality or their families. It also means they cannot choose their Quirks. But everyone is free to choose their paths.

Two weeks ago, just before the villain attack, The Pro Hero Thirteen said and I quote, 'Please do not forget that there are many Quirks that can easily kill with one wrong step. You shall learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You do not have powers so you can harm others. I hope you leave here with the understanding that you have the power in order to help others.'

Many people had been discriminated against over the years for mutation-type Quirks, or Quirks that sounded evil like mind control, poison...

But as Thirteen taught us with words and actions, there are no evil Quirks there are evil people. The path you choose is what matters not what power you were born with. A person with a mind control Quirk can help civilians to calm down and evacuate without panicking during crises. Poison is something used in medicine for thousands of years. Prejudging a person based on something they have no control over is shallow at best. Weak, strong, evil, righteous... Quirks cannot be classified like these. These are human traits.

If all you do is whine and curse the world for unfairness, you can never achieve greatness and you fail yourself. I was born lucky with a strong Quirk and a great family. But ever since I awakened, I worked every day to stand on this stage. And from this moment forward, I will keep on working hard so I can stand at the top so I can proudly say that, I didn't fail myself!"

Mokami looked up and saw that everyone was looking at him. He realized he lost control of his thoughts and spoke from his heart. Although he chided himself in his mind, it wasn't a big deal. What he said was beneficial for his cause. Although it was a bit early, as the country wasn't ready yet, it was okay. It would give them more time to adjust to this mindset.

After a few seconds of silence, a loud clap reverberated in the dead silent stadium. It was surprisingly All-Might and seeing him, many others also rose from their seats and started to clap. When there was one, there were many. Soon, almost everyone was up and clapping. Whistles and cheers were drowning the stadium.
