All-Might stood at the center of the training grounds, arms crossed and a stern look on his face. "Alright, students! Today's rescue training exercise is all about speed and agility. Your task is to reach me, your distressed civilian, in the shortest amount of time. However, you will not be starting at the same point. Each team member will start from a different location, and you will race against each other. No working together. This is an individual challenge!"
The students glanced at each other, excitement and determination shining in their eyes. They were eager to prove their skills and showcase their Quirks.
All-Might continued, "Team One: Itsuka Kendo, Yui Kodai, Mineta Minoru, and Yuga Aoyama.
Team Two: Mina Ashido, Asui Tsuya, Uraraka Ochaco, and Mashirao Ojiro.
Team Three: Eijiro Kirishima, Kyoka Jiro, Fumikage Tokoyami, Toru Hagakure, and Mezo Shoji.
And finally, Team Four: Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Iida, Katsuki Bakugou, Hanta Sero, and Izuku Midoriya."
Midoriya raised his hand, "All-Might Sensei, what about Momo-san and Mokami-kun?"
All-Might grinned, "Ah, yes. Mokami and Momo will be racing against each other separately. Their Quirks give them, ehem, an advantage in this exercise, so they'll have their own special challenge."
Iida looked puzzled. "Why aren't we at the USJ for this rescue training exercise, All-Might Sensei?"
"This exercise is focused on speed and agility, not disaster rescue," All-Might explained. "We'll be using the Playing Ground Gamma, which is densely packed with construction site lanes that turn it into a labyrinth. Remember, keep the damage to a minimum!" He shot a pointed glance at Bakugou, who scowled in response.
The students in Team 1 took their positions, their hearts pounding with anticipation. As All-Might gave the signal to start, they burst into action, each student utilizing their unique Quirks to navigate the labyrinthine training grounds.
The first team was off, with Itsuka Kendo, Yui Kodai, Mineta Minoru, and Yuga Aoyama each starting from different points within the labyrinth.
Kendo dashed through the maze, using her Big Fist Quirk to smash through any obstacles in her way. "Gotta be faster!" she muttered to herself, pushing herself to move quicker.
In another part of the labyrinth, Yui Kodai was gathering small materials as she navigated the maze. She would throw them into the air, enlarge them, and then use them as platforms to leap forward, effectively cutting corners and saving time. "Almost there!" she exclaimed, as she spotted All-Might in the distance.
Meanwhile, Mineta used his Pop Off Quirk to create a trail of sticky balls to swing from, propelling himself through the air as he raced towards All-Might. "I won't let you guys beat me!" he shouted, a determined look on his face.
Lastly, Yuga Aoyama used his Navel Laser to blast himself off the ground, flying through the maze like a human rocket. "I will shine brighter than any of you!" he declared, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
As they reached All-Might, the first team members were all neck and neck. With a final burst of speed, Kendo crossed the finish line first, closely followed by Yui, Mineta, and Aoyama.
All-Might clapped as he congratulated Team 1. "Excellent job, everyone! You each showcased your unique abilities and navigated the labyrinth with impressive speed. Now, let's move on to Team 2!"
Team 2 took their positions, with Mina Ashido, Asui Tsuya, Uraraka Ochaco, and Mashirao Ojiro ready to show their skills.
Mina used her Acid Quirk to dissolve obstacles and create makeshift slides to propel herself forward. Tsuya leaped from wall to wall, utilizing her Frog Quirk to traverse the maze with ease. Uraraka used her Zero Gravity Quirk to float above the labyrinth, cleverly avoiding the twists and turns entirely. Meanwhile, Ojiro employed his Tail Quirk to whip away any obstacles and swing through the maze.
As the members of Team 2 reached All-Might, it was a close race between Mina and Tsuya, with Mina ultimately taking the win. Uraraka and Ojiro followed closely behind Tsuyu.
As Team 3 took their positions, Eijiro Kirishima, Kyoka Jiro, Fumikage Tokoyami, Toru Hagakure, and Mezo Shoji prepared themselves for the race.
Kirishima pumped himself up, "Let's race manly!" Using his Hardening Quirk, he bulldozed through the labyrinth, breaking down walls and clearing his path.
Jiro, on the other hand, employed her Earphone Jack Quirk to detect vibrations in the walls, allowing her to navigate through the maze with ease. "Just a bit further," she whispered to herself as she moved confidently through the labyrinth. She acted like a kunoichi, jumping from wall to wall and performing parkour maneuvers with the grace of a true acrobat.
Tokoyami, now able to fly by wearing Dark Shadow, soared above the maze. "Keep going, Dark Shadow!" he commanded, as they quickly closed in on All-Might. "Power of shadows, and darkness will prevail!"
Toru, stronger than before, relied on her Invisibility Quirk to slip through unnoticed, using her physical strength to bypass obstacles. "Almost there!" she cheered quietly, focused on reaching All-Might.
Meanwhile, Shoji used his Dupli-Arms Quirk to create multiple arms, using them to swing and climb through the maze like a spider. "Just a bit more," he encouraged himself, as he sped towards the finish line.
As Team 3 reached All-Might, Tokoyami and Dark Shadow were the first to arrive, followed closely by Jiro, Kirishima, Toru, and Shoji. All-Might congratulated them on their impressive performance, and the students prepared for Team 4's race.
Finally, Team 4 took their positions, with Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Iida, Katsuki Bakugou, Hanta Sero, and Izuku Midoriya ready to compete.
Todoroki, having overcome his hesitation with his fire, used both ice and fire to create a path through the labyrinth. "I will reach you, All-Might!" he declared, determined to win the race.
Iida activated his Engine Quirk, using his incredible speed to zip through the maze. "I must push myself to be faster!" he thought as he raced towards All-Might.
Bakugo, with his usual explosive enthusiasm, used his Explosion Quirk to propel himself through the maze. "I'm not gonna lose to you, Deku!" he shouted, aiming to reach All-Might first.
Sero employed his Tape Quirk to swing through the labyrinth like a gymnast, deftly navigating the twists and turns. "I won't be left behind!" he said, concentrating on his movements.
Midoriya, now able to control One For All up to 10 percent, used his newfound mastery to leap and dash through the maze. "I can do this!" he said to himself, his eyes focused on reaching All-Might as quickly as possible.
As the members of Team 4 closed in on All-Might, it was an intense race between Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki. In the end, Todoroki reached All-Might first, with Midoriya and Bakugo close behind. Sero and Iida followed shortly after, completing the race.
All-Might congratulated the final team on their incredible display of speed and agility. "Well done, everyone! Your hard work and training have paid off. Remember, heroes must always be prepared to adapt and think on their feet. Today's exercise was a testament to your growth and potential."
The students of Class 1-A beamed with pride, eager to continue their training and become the best heroes they could be. With each passing day, they grew stronger and more confident, inspired by the support of their friends and mentors.
"Now, for the last race. Momo-girl and Mokami-boy, please take your places."
