The sunlight flashes through the windows of the car as they drive toward town. If not for the knowledge of their mission, Autumn would consider it a beautiful day. She watches the back of Connie’s vehicle as they drive. She can make out Duncan’s massive figure hunched over in the back seat. Watching the giant of a man trying to climb into her compact car was almost comical.
