“What are you doing?” Wendy asked from our spot next to a tall shrub. Well, it was more like my spot. I was the one crouched from around it. Wendy was standing to the side with her hand on her hip, looking done with me as she usually did.
“I’m about to go spend time with the pups.” I looked around the west garden, searching for any signs of the pups. I figured as Luna my first big action should be taking charge of the Pup Nursery. Since most members live in the west wing, the pups hang out in the gardens there.
“No. You’re peeping out from behind a hedge, like a creeper.” A hedge? Is that what this was called? I’m both thankful and upset when Wendy taught me new words. I never went to school after all.
“I wanted to stage a meeting with them, so I thought it would be better to meet them outside, Wendy.”
