“Whose scent is this!?” His mouth was larger as his fangs grew. His hand gripped my hair with fierceness and anger. I stood so small against his looming figure. “Who the h*ll left their scent on you!?”

Before I could scream or shout or shove him, he already ducked down and licked. A soundless scream came out of my mouth as his tongue trailed up my thigh and right in between my legs. I grabbed his hair with both fists in surprise.
“What are you doing!?”
His tongue slid right against...   my center.
“I’m going to do what I should have done before. Maybe with my scent other b*stards will keep their hands off you,” he answered with his face deep against me.

I barely remembered being carried back to the castle. I woke up and fell asleep constantly, living my life in pieces. I was on the back of a large black wolf. I drank something sour. Wendy was there. Mordecai’s hand was petting my head. I shifted back to human at one point.


When I woke up and could stay awake, Wendy was wringing out a towel and wiping my head again. The water was really cold.


“That’s so cold. No more.” I was whining, but after getting beat up by a bear shifter, I’m allowed to whine.


“Your fever only now broke. Stop being a baby.” Wendy was back to her usual mean self. I pushed her hand away and got up from my bed. “Hey! Be careful with your wounds!” She pushed me back down, surprising me with just how strong she was.
