The Grand-mistress of Demonic Cultivation (Fan-fiction)

This is a fan-fic of the popular danmei novel Mo Dao Zu Shi by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. The story covers the period of thirteen years between Wei Wuxian's death at the Nightless City to the point when Mo Xuanyu performed the Sacrificial Ritual to bring his soul back. It is said that no one knew what exactly happened during the Second Siege of the Burial Mounds that led to Wei Wuxian's death. Some say he died from the Stygian Tiger Amulet's spiritual backfire. Some say he was shredded into pieces by his own Fierce Corpse Army, while some speculate Jiang Chang killed him during the Seige. But what really happened to his soul? Wei Wuxian told Wangji that he didn't know where his soul was all this time. Was he telling the truth?

Wei Wuxian was the Grandmaster of demonic cultivation who can summon and control souls. It wouldn't be too illogical to think of him to possess the power to preserve his soul. After all, he achieved the unthinkable in the cultivation world. The one who is untamed and free and doesn't prefer walking the broad crowded avenue.
